An LLM should never audit its own transaction, says @neburo
"You have one probabilistic process auditing another."
A real check has to work the same way every time, and it has to exist separate from what it's checking.
So an AI model reviewing another AI model does not count only a control if it's deterministic and external to the thing you're checking."
He recommends running a transaction simulation instead, which shows exactly what the transaction would do before the money moves.
"Simulation is execution, not an opinion."

Tenderly - Nebojsa Urosevic co-founded the simulation layer that models a transaction against live chain state before it is sent. In March they shipped an MCP server so AI agents can run that check themselves, and wrote that a hallucinating agent onchain costs users real funds. Onchain there is no undo, which matters a lot more when the thing pressing send is software.
Maple - Joe Flanagan has said their internal risk monitoring platform will start to become more agentically run: AI simulating market conditions to predict the likelihood of margin calls and liquidations, with Maple setting the risk framework and agents running it in real time. $4.6B in institutional credit onchain.
