Genuinely curious if these grocery shops really think that consumers are going to use their crappy AI features? It seems so obvious that there is a massive advantage to being the first to allow agents to shop.

Holy cow, just heard an engineer talk about how they were going to build an internal version of Eleven Labs for a voice feature in their product (not Speakeasy). Because they want to save money.

The kids are not alright...

Escalators and Elevators were the original SaaS
A Tube Station you're BANNED from entering.

That’s where Zone 1 Angel station could be heading.

The reason?

The escalators don't work.

One’s been BROKEN since April. Another could FAIL within six months.

Design work on replacements? It only starts this Autumn.

Britain lem once it's a crisis.

Angel station isn’t alone, 153 of TfL’s escalators are operating past their shelf life.

That’s over 25% of all escalators on the tube line.

The Government must ACT & fix the maintenance backlog before every station becomes like Angel.

Do you agree?

This feels like when Github was a mess and loads of people were shitting on them.

But you take a step back and you realise there are monumental shifts happening faster than ever before, and it's remarkable how hard everyone is working to make things right.

Hide your children, hide your MCPs, they be attacking everyone out here...
Of course I'd love people to use @speakeasydev for it, but please folks... Whatever your set up, MOVE YOUR MCP SERVERS TO A PRIVATE NETWORK. It's a simple step to protect yourself from some of the craziness out there, and it only takes a day.

We'll help you if you want: cal.com/team/speakeasy…

College football is operating like European football. It would be hilarious if salaries started to approach/exceed the NFL.

My dream would be that the college teams get sold off to private investors and a true pyramid style league emerges with promotion/relegation with the NFL acting as the top division.

I think I realized why Muse isn't available internationally... The US launch is actually just a practice run for the main event which will be Meta replacing the AI feature in WhatsApp with Muse. They don't want international people using Muse via its own app because it'll be baked in soon.

WhatsApp is the main platform for digital communication in most of the world (besides the US)

It's a massive massive opportunity to make Muse the most used consumer AI product worldwide with an almost impossible to beat moat. They may have outflanked OpenAI which would've been crazy to consider 2 years ago.

It's also an enormous risk, there isn't actually a lot of lock in for WhatsApp (loads of different providers), so people could switch if they messed it up. That's why Meta's been largely hands off with WhatsApp historically

But it does feel like the right moment to risk the platform and make the play to win the whole consumer AI enchilada.

Kudos to @alexandr_wang on the master stroke.
