Interacted with PMC sanitation workers at the ‘Swachh Samvad’ melava organised by the Solid Waste Management Department, listening to their concerns, challenges and suggestions. Felicitated exemplary staff and reaffirmed our commitment to strengthening coordination and fostering the administration and its workforce.
Sanitation goes beyond waste collection—it is about public health, dignity and quality of life. Our sanitation workers are the backbone of Swachh Pune, and their well-being and empowerment are vital to building a cleaner, healthier and more liveable city.
Pune has been a frontrunner in education, culture, arts, the freedom struggle and is now emerging as a GCC hub. *Why should we look to other cities for a sanitation model? Pune can lead by developing its own model of Swachh Pune, Sundar Pune*
Every effort counts!

Cleanliness in Pune city has been a challenge but now we are ready to overcome it. We analyzed gaps in manpower, vehicles availability, processing capacity and peoples’ participation. Our new action plan is addressing all the above issues. We will see a visible difference in a few months.

A first-of-its-kind brainstorming with GCC leaders and industry experts in Pune, centred around one question: *“Why not Pune?”*
We heard industry concerns and discussed short- and long-term solutions for infrastructure, urban mobility and last-mile connectivity.
Grateful to a Fadnavis ji for joining virtually and assuring the industry of the Government’s support in enabling Pune to emerge as a leading global GCC hub.
This is not a one-time conversation. We will continue this dialogue through regular interactions, focused interventions and collaborative efforts with industry to address challenges and create a conducive ecosystem for GCCs.
*Pune is ready. The Vision of Hon’ble CM is to make Pune one of most important growth Hubs in the Country. Together, we will make it happen.*

Honoured to attend the Founders' Day celebration of Wellington College International, Pune.
Spoke on “Building the City of Tomorrow: The Role of Education in Pune’s Future.”
Education is not merely about knowledge—it is about developing perspectives, curiosity and critical educational ecosystem and pool of talent can play a vital role in building a future-ready, sustainable and climate-resilient city.
I also urged students to use technology wisely, guard their time from social media and rediscover the habit of reading.
Pune has the talent, knowledge, creativity and heritage to become one of India’s finest cities. Our young generation will play a crucial role in shaping its future.
Congratulations to the @WCIindia and Best Wishes

Nala garden is a project/concept that turns dirty open sewage drain into a green and peaceful public park. Very innovative work done in Wagholi by the Panchsheel group which can be replicated in many other areas.

The available evidence and data logs indicate that there was no paper leak and no compromise of the examination process. The incident was individual in nature, was promptly contained, and was detected through the system’s own analytics. The Corporation acted before a single appointment was made.
Judicial precedents in such matters consistently recognise the principle of segregating the tainted from the untainted. In this case, the online examination process enabled the Corporation to reliably identify and segregate the candidates involved in the irregularity. PMC has accordingly proceeded with the appointments of candidates who were found to be untainted.
In the interest of complete transparency, the Corporation has published the IBPS report in its entirety on the PMC website, enabling all stakeholders to examine the findings for themselves.
Those who disagree with the Corporation’s decisions are free to approach the Government or the Hon’ble Courts. An FIR has also been registered, and the police will conduct an independent investigation. All relevant information will be shared in accordance with the law and the investigation process.
It is important to distinguish between a paper leak and cheating by an individual candidate during an examination. They are not the same.
The fact that three candidates were found to have engaged in cheating cannot, by itself, justify penalising all other candidates who prepared diligently and worked hard for years for these examinations. We must ensure that the wrongdoing of a few does not result in injustice to the many who followed the rules and earned their place fairly.
