I'm building Max Q, a Mac browser built around SpaceXSI's ecosystem and Grok.
It starts with search. One results page brings it all together:
路 Grok's answer on top, with its sources and follow-up questions
路 The web, with when each page last changed
路 Grokipedia articles you ontents and sources included
路 Posts from X with their Community Notes, no X account needed
You bring your own SpaceXSI API key (it stays in your Keychain), or use your grok.com account in a side panel. You choose how hard Grok thinks and how much it can spend each month, and every answer shows what it cost.
It's a native Mac app on WebKit. No servers, no analytics.
Not out yet. Here's a 3-minute look at where it's at.
Independent project, not affiliated with SpaceX, SpaceXSI or X.

It would certainly be a dream if this occurs, and I would gladly accept the $100/month subscription plan after that since I use @bot a lot.
Right now, I am really excited for Grok Bot to gain access to my mails and Apple Health one day.

Wouldn鈥檛 it be great if Apple were to implement Grok Bot as the default agent on Siri? Yeah and fix bot -> boy auto correction

I鈥檝e been training the Grok 4.7 API for a few days on crypto trading inside my own private crypto trading app. Grok will have full access to everything, just like any normal human trading on an app like @phantom. The results look great so far, and I鈥檒l soon give Grok $20 to try paper trading (no real money). We鈥檒l see how good it is at making a profit.
If the results stay strong, I鈥檓 willing to keep training it for a long time and eventually give @Grok real money.

Grok Bot is getting closer and closer to having Apple integration, from the pre patch notes the last few days:

Max Q is out, earlier than I planned.
It's a native Mac browser built around Grok: one page with Grok's answer, the web and Grokipedia, Grok beside any page, and an agent that works in a tab while you watch.
Free and open source:

It's a research project, not a product: no app to download, just the source. Clone it, open it in Xcode, build it. macOS 15 or later, Apache 2.0.
