My precious Ashley was only 11 when diagnosed with #BrainCancer on January 24, 2011. What started as back/neck pain in October 2010 turned into blurred vision & severe headaches by January 2011. A CT scan revealed a tumor pressing on her brain stem, with fluid not draining propery removed most of the tumor, but part had grown into her brain stem & couldn’t be fully taken out. She started radiation & Temodar chemo in March. By November, scans showed growth. In December, we learned it was spreading in the brain stem. Our world shattered again.
In 2012, treatments switched to Avastin & Irinotecan infusions. More surgeries followed. Another to relieve pressure in February. By May, speech & walking became impossible. A new lesion appeared, plus more growth in the thalamus/brain stem. Ashley lost feeling on her right side, then speech entirely.
From June to December 2012, she lost all motor skills & couldn’t swallow. A feeding tube kept her nourished. Through every moment, she remained the bravest, strongest girl, never giving up & always shining with hope & love. ❤️
On December 31, 2012, our beautiful Ashley Marie Moore celebrated New Year’s Eve in heaven with Jesus, at just 13 years old. She was unstoppable in spirit, even when her body couldn’t keep up.
Her fight inspired me to found Cancer Response Team (@Nonprofit4Kids) to support other #ChildhoodCancer families. Ashley’s legacy lives on, helping Children get the care they deserve. 💛

⚠️ We're grateful to this driver for providing their dashcam footage, complete with audio. We think the soundtrack is a fitting reminder of just how dangerous the decision to drug drive can be.
Ahead of them is Emma Dutton, aged 43, of Church View, her car into a pole after falling asleep at the wheel.
Subsequent tests showed she was over the drug-drive limit for cocaine ❌
➡️ Dutton pleaded guilty to dangerous driving and drug driving, and was sentenced at Oxford Magistrates' Court on 8 October. She received a 12-month suspended prison sentence and a 22-month driving ban.
We say this every time, but please don't drug drive.

BREAKING: Netanyahu says Iran has now restarted its nuclear program and intends to destroy Israel within a short time.

Imagine being a CEO of an US energy company and thinking that you work with close associates of the Trump family, only to find out that behind them is a sanctioned Russian company, really pulling the strings.
This happened in Alaska. Polar Train LNG's CEO, Joel Riddle, stepped that the Russian "Novatek" company, which is under US sanctions, has been involved in a $25 billion energy project in Alaska. The CEO thought that he was working with Gentry Beach, a close friend of Donald Trump Junior.
Reportedly, that project was also discussed between Witkoff and Jared Kushner when they were with Putin. The White House admitted that the project was talked about "briefly".
We are witnessing the greatest corruption scandal the USA has ever witnessed. It all leads to Trump, his family and the Russians, and apparently they were even ready to sell riches of Alaska to the Russians.
The people in Alaska just need to look over to Russia, where the richest regions in terms of minerals and hydrocarbon resources have been stripped-mined, transferring all the wealth to Moscow and Saint Petersburg and leaving a scarred landscape in extreme poverty. That is the result of rampant corruption.
We are starting to see more details why Trump and his friends are trying so strongly to bully Ukraine into surrender. This is most certainly only the tip of the iceberg.

Heather Earley, mother of three, has died waiting for her money. @PostOffice kept her waiting so long she ran out of time. Impressive logistics.
Lawyer @SimonMGoldberg (well worth to give him a follow) shared the sad news today.
Heather Earley was one of 555 e Post Office to the High Court and won, and she died before getting her redress, the money owed to put her life back together.
He points to a @BBCNews article from 2024 on victims who died before getting redress. Winning in court and never seeing the money is a rare talent.
Heather Earley was a mother of three who ran a local shop with a Post Office counter in Mossley, Newtownabbey, in Northern Ireland. In December 2013 the Horizon computer system said she was £10,000 short. A computer said so, and in the Post Office computers are never wrong..
She says one customer kept using a flaw in the system. Every time that customer withdrew £100, the system added £100 to the balance instead of taking it off. I wish my bank worked like that.
Heather Earley called the police, and the customer was prosecuted and convicted. That put the blame on the customer, and the Post Office still demanded the £10,000 from her, took money from her wages and refused to give it back even after the conviction. Crime solved, victim billed ...
She borrowed from family and maxed out three credit cards just to buy stock for the shop. She cashed in £50,000 of her pension to save the house and clear her debts. Her village lost its post office and its shop, a truly generous service to the community.
In 2019 the Post Office settled the group case for £57.75M. Around £46M went on legal and funding costs, which left roughly £20,000 for each of the 555 people. The judge, Mr Justice Peter Fraser, had said the Post Office at times acted as though it answered only to itself, and it seems to have taken that as a challenge.
Reports say at least 350 Horizon victims have died before their final payouts, so at this pace the scheme will finish the moment nobody is left to be paid.
Heather Earley wanted justice and enough money to rebuild what was left of her life. Simon Goldberg says the lawyers and other parties who held up and nickel and dimed her redress should feel nothing but shame, though shame does not appear to be billable. Stop fighting these people and pay them before it is too late.
