Bitcoin apps need a close eye on the mempool right now, and Luganodes RPC gives you that from the Free plan.

Here’s why. Blocks are 99% full, yet fees are close to zero. There’s plenty of cheap traffic to fill every block and none of it is in a hurry, so nobody is bidding up the k 971,611 was 99.8% full with a median fee of 0.38 sat/vB. Behind it, about 76,400 transactions were waiting in the mempool.

A long queue that costs almost nothing to join changes what apps have to worry about. Getting in is cheap. The effort goes into knowing whether a transaction landed, how long it’s been waiting, and when it’s worth bumping.

In practice, that’s constant polling on mempool entries and spent outputs, plus rebroadcasts when something drops out.

sendrawtransaction, mempool reads like getmempoolentry, and fee estimates with estimatesmartfee are on every Luganodes RPC plan, Free included, from 5 CU a call.
