Which is worse:
A) Your AI assistant answers your boss's email in your name.
B) Your boss replies "Perfect, let's do it" and you have no idea what you just agreed to.

We trained an imaginative agent! ✨
Agima: an omni agent that plans by imagining futures.
𝗦𝗙𝗧: Directly generalizes to harder tasks! 𝟮%→𝟰𝟬%, beats GPT-5.6 Sol (𝟮𝟬%).
𝗥𝗟: New ways to imagine emerge! Imagines a second plan only if the first one fails (𝟯𝟮%→𝟭𝟬𝟬%).

The Jensen effect 🦆
launch day: about 3,000 MicroDucks sold
24h after @JensenHuang showed it on stage at @nvidia GTC: over 4,000 newly sold units and keep counting
bigger than our (already massive) launch day!

Jensen spent 10 min of his keynote asking microducks to sit, then explained Nvidia's roadmap to them 🥹

The Jetsons is set in 2062, so the humanoid industry technically still has 36 years to deliver Rosie.

Would you let a $20,000 humanoid into your home if a 1X employee could take over remotely, through its cameras, whenever it doesn't know a chore yet?
I want to say no. I'm not sure that's true.

Tesla call done. My bingo card: "biggest product on Earth" came, so did "early production" in Fremont, and a new video is promised "in a month or so". The one box I really wanted, how many Optimus are doing real work today, stayed empty again.

Tesla earnings tomorrow. My Optimus bingo card:
- Optimus is the biggest product of all time
- Production starts "later this year"
- A new video of Optimus doing something charming
- An actual count of robots doing real work
That last box has never been ticked. Maybe tomorrow 🤞

I hate GPT right now. Is it just me or does it agree with everything? I push back once and it's "You're right, I've changed my mind." I push back on that and it flips again. So what am I supposed to believe?

Industrial robots installed last year:
China 354,000
US 38,500
Germany under 25,000, and falling
China alone got 59% of all new industrial robots worldwide.

A judge just ordered Meta to pay New Mexico $25 billion over Cambridge Analytica.
The jury found 43 million violations. The law allows up to $5,000 each. That would have been $215 billion.
So technically Meta got an 88% discount. And it's still going to appeal.

Effective Immediately, all organizations using PHP for their systems are advised to be prepared for an update addressing two critical vulnerabilities. PHP is widely used for web applications. These vulnerabilities often provide a direct path to the server's file system or database. If an immediate update is not feasible, it is recommend that organizations take the system offline until it can be fully mitigated. NSA will follow up shortly with more specific guidance.

Jensen Huang on stage in Berlin today: a 1 GW AI factory costs about $50 billion, and every three months of delay costs about $10 billion in revenue.
He said that in the city that took 14 years to build its airport.
I'd love to know how many people in the room did the math.

Roughly 70% of all websites run on PHP. This week it got two security holes rated 9.2 out of 10.
Governments and Nintendo pulled sites offline before a fix was even out.
Official patches shipped today, for PHP 8.2 and newer. By one estimate about half of all PHP sites run something older.
Somewhere an admin just found out that "we'll upgrade next quarter" was said in 2021.

Fill in the blank:
Robots will be truly mainstream when ________.
My answer: when nobody bothers to film them anymore.

Germany has a word for it: Präsenzkultur. The idea that if the boss can see you, you must be working.
The 2026 version: you commute an hour, badge in, find a free desk, and spend the afternoon on video calls with colleagues who stayed home.
I'd laugh if there weren't numbers on it. Economists Natalia Emanuel and Emma Harrington surveyed 1,835 college-educated US workers in September. Over 70% said someone from their own team was missing the last time they went to the office. More than a third had to join meetings online even though almost everyone was there.
I'm not anti-office. My team is spread across North America, and the days we all fly in are some of the most useful days we have. But they're planned. Nobody flies across a continent to sit on Teams.
Everything else? Remote work. Now with a commute.

Investors have put $11B into humanoid startups this year. More than double last year's record.
Meanwhile Anthropic ran the numbers: robots could technically do 74% of physical tasks in the US. They're cheaper than a human for 0.3% of the work.
Same robots. Same spreadsheet. Different religion.
