Value transfer has entered a new kind of era.
~ centralised → decentralised
~ rigid → flexible
~ short-term → long-term value
~ legacy-based → agency-based
And liquid has put it in a platform anyone can use.

Digital assets have struggled to find PMF.
But it’s obvious what the innovation is:
~ modern financial infrastructure
That’s the breakthrough. Blockchain, wallets, stablecoins, censorship resistant money. It’s all infra.

Dear @Westpac,
I recently helped a friend move money to crypto exchange.... Thanks to imposed $10k monthly limit.
This limit is not to help, it is control. Scammers will always scam, people will always gamble.
Do you also limit pensioners using their westpac account at gambling venues?
Let's be honest, you just dislike deposits leaving your bank.
To all the readers here is hoe you easily get around this:
1. Open a Revolut bank account
2. Move whatever you like there max $20k a day
3. Transfer from Revolut to your favourite crypto exchange.
Then you will lrealise, hey, I can just use Revolt and close your Westpac account.

liquid is redistributing financial power. Ownership of money has always depended on a bank agreeing that you own it. In 2026, this is no longer the case.
You can own your money.
You can own your money.
@chrisbryckithis to people for years. Any money you deposit to a bank is legally theirs, not yours. It’s a debtor-creditor relationship, not a bailment. They essentially own “your” money outright once it’s in their system, and can limit/freeze/terminate the account without warning. Greatest myth in the world that your money at a bank is yours.

A $20,000 balance in a typical savings account generates about $126 a year.
The same balance in a stablecoin vault generates close to $1,200.
Remove the middlemen and you remove the extraction.
