Over the years, there have been many requests from grateful users asking how to donate to the project. It's been on the to-do list, but putting up a static Bitcoin address never felt quite right. Lightning support is also a must. Now we have built a proper donate flow.

Day 3: Lightning Developer Bootcamp Uyo 🇳🇬
Today was the moment many participants had been waiting for. We finally stepped into the world of the Lightning Network, and the energy in the room was on a new level.
After building a solid Bitcoin foundation over the last two days, cal feel of how instant Bitcoin payments work. We broke down how channels are opened, how routing happens, what HTLCs really are, and why Lightning is such a powerful layer for scaling Bitcoin across Africa. @Extheo is a great instructor 🙌🏾
The highlight of the day was the hands on session. Using @lightningpolar, participants created their own Lightning environments, opened channels, sent test payments, and watched the entire flow happen in real time from their laptops. For many, it was their first time seeing Lightning in action from the inside, not just as end users.
The conversations, the curiosity, the excitement, everything pointed to one thing. Builders in Uyo are ready to take Lightning development seriously.
