This is a very special acquisition for me. ❤️
These images have lived in my mind since I laid eyes on them, I've felt such a deep connection to them. I tear up every time I share the story behind these pieces and the artist @halecar2.
Watching these works find their way into been a highlight, and celebrating those milestones with Alejandro has made it more meaningful.
And somehow, the universe worked its magic once again. Not only have I acquired the physical photographs, but their 1/1 NFTs as well.

I'm honored to announce the acquisition of Daughter on the USA-Mexico Border Wall, at Friendship Park, California., Mother on the Mexico-USA Border Wall, Friendship Park, Playas de Tijuana, Mexico, 2017, by @WAPSHOP_ETH. She has been one of my kindest and most cent years, and I could not be more honored that these works are now part of her collection. These are special works for me personally, emotionally, and politically. Our world is divided, and yet in that darkness, there is still hope for peace and change. I couldn't think of a better steward for these works than Wapshop. She is the first private collector to hold these works, apart from SFMOMA, MOMA, the Getty Museum, and the KADIST collection.
Thank you @WAPSHOP_ETH for all you've done for me and for supporting my crazy ideas. You know how important this is for me.
