@subniten @basit_ayantunde @KLM Many times actually, but I've never had KLM lose luggage. But I also avoid checking luggage when I can.

The worse stories I've heard are from United. My sister had a bag that was missing for an entire 3 week trip to Europe and she got back at her house in the states.

@crascit @EliasDaler @violinpony @PaddleHQ But if this is still a concern for you, you can choose to still self publish through a large corporation like Amazon and will still get a MUCH better deal than using a regular publication house.

What you lose is promotion and editing help. All of that is on you.

@crascit @EliasDaler @violinpony @PaddleHQ The author never handles any payment processing, so the author has no exposure to liability here.

What you get is the equivalent of a royalty payment. You must pay taxes in your local jurisdiction on that royalty payment.

Liability lands with Leanpub.

@crascit @EliasDaler @violinpony @PaddleHQ I know Craig doesn't use leanpub, but I would still recommend them. I self publish with leanpub and Amazon and I handle $0 directly.

They do 100% of the payment processing and distribution, it gives me physical and digital copies available.

@david_m_stone @atomgalaxy But the {xs...} in the template for also requires C++ brain.

Better if the syntax allowed just

template for (const auto &x : xs) {
}
