i accidentally wrote 99 songs.
for years, music was how i survived. making sense of pain, life lessons, and existential questions took form in song.
every friday on youtube, i’m sharing a piece of my world.

I wrote this song last year for @TheBenMeadows 40th birthday and recorded this rough demo in my bedroom. Happy 41st Birthday to the love of my life. 🎂❤️

My biggest goals in life have absolutely nothing to do with money. It’s a tool yes, but just a tool. When you build a house you’re not focused on the hammer. Yesterday @TheBenMeadows and I woke up talking about how our goal is to be incorruptible. That’s real power.

What if life’s like Vincent Van Gogh?
Would me or he or anybody even know?
What if Father Time wants you to realize that through death we rise and we’re immortalized like Vincent Van Gogh?

We’ve commodified every piece of ourselves and as we self-objectify we ask why we feel so hollow.

The first 54 pieces I gave away in Marfa during @artblocks_io weekend are now live on a @manifoldxyz contract imported to @SuperRare .

If you know how difficult and long it took some people to recover their peace of mind and happiness, you'll understand why they shut all doors at any potential negativity and also why they can be so selective about who they allow in their lives.

Fear and desire are powerful mechanisms of control. Where would you go without them? I think we are capable of pure, creative expression and growth outside these controls.

@TroyCaylak There is definitely tension in the space. We want it to be just about the art and innovation but it also can’t be just about the art and innovation. 🫤 Money both enables creation and corrupts its purpose.
