1. 🚨 New Post: The Rise of Service-as-a-Software
We’re witnessing a massive opportunity to build software businesses that serve people, not IT departments.

This shift is bigger than SaaS. Here's why: 🧵

Most of what keeps an industrial business running has never been written down.
It lives in the heads of the people who've done the job for 20 years. When they retire, that judgment leaves with them.

That's the problem Evos is solving. 🧵

7/ @im_urav knows industrial operations from his family's manufacturing and logistics businesses, and he moves with real speed and technical depth.

It's a privilege to back him and the Evos team as they build the workforce layer for the physical economy.

Excited to support you and the team! Let's go!
We raised $9M to grow the world's economy by unleashing and multiplying the expertise trapped in everyday businesses. Co-led by @Field_Ventures and @uncorkcap.

Before Evos, I sat down with 100+ business owners. In almost every one, the most important system in the building is a 20 years. None of what they know is written down anywhere.

@ai_evos codifies the expertise of their very best people and delivers it on every job, every day, without changing how their business operates.

Starting with logistics, we're building the most experienced workforce in history.

Thank you @kerby @Jillwillnyc @thistrippjones @gabbycontro @CrosslinkCap, and to the @ai_evos team for making it real every day.

1/ The “software is dead” narrative gets one thing right:

AI is making software dramatically cheaper to build.

But it confuses the cost of creating software with the cost of owning and operating it.

That distinction matters. A lot. 🧵

14/ Every prior platform shift produced more software, not less.

What disappeared was the shallow, generic, undifferentiated middle.

What endured owned critical data, orchestrated important workflows, and earned the trust to act.

That is vertical AI.

16/ AI making software cheaper to build does not weaken the vertical software thesis.

It strengthens it.

The build vs buy head fake is real, but for founders and investors who know where to look, it is not a threat.

It is a map.
