All the real office tea, silent updates, and unfiltered gossip happen on smoke breaks. If you don’t smoke, you either chase people down at their desks or get left behind without even realizing it.
Smokers really have an unspoken brotherhood. They could be in the middle of a heated argument, but the second one sparks a lighter and offers a cigarette, the conflict is 90% resolved.
