we’ve built workflows around this

not only are they meant to turn a meeting into easy, human readable forms (aka a slack message :P)
we should be separating written word for an agent vs written word for a human. there’s simply different principles and goals

the AR layer is hidden and responsive

just judge the outcome, just say what you want

turn the skill of “writing a skill” → just do evals

most of the time, it feels like AI is deliberately writing adversarially

impossibly long paragraphs. too much detail. not enough detail. the important bits scattered in the middle. 10+ numbered bullets. no bullets at all.

i’m reading an essay meant for no human...

@cnord19 is incredible at getting her agents to output responses in a succinct, skimmable formats (oft w/ tables or classic RFCs)

we’ve been building quite a few tools to turn unstructured/verbose text (e.g. dictation or agent garbo) into structured, *human readable* forms

we'll all build better tools when we remember *who* is reading *what* at the end of the day

know your audience

i'm actually really excited about this

if i'm co-authoring with claude, i want you to know the 80% that is me trying to say something
This is part of working with the EU AI Act, other labs are adding similar watermarking.

It’s hard to identify AI-generated text, and this gives people better tools to do that. We’ll also be a shipping text detection API that you can use yourself.
