Fun fact. I lived in Yemen growing up and can confirm that everyone chews Khat in the afternoon. So work practically was only done during a small window of time in the morning.
One reason Yemen is so impoverished is roughly 80% of the male population is addicted to Khat. They're high almost all the time.
