Yeah, this kid is also going pro, but first he's going to earn a degree at the University of North Florida. Jonathan "Jona" Acosta (25/SS/FL) has arguably the best hands, I've ever seen. But most importantly, he's got a warm heart...🌾@MiLB @Florida_PG @ECDodgersScout @OspreyBSB

Jonathan Acosta (‘25 FL) gets down quick w/ two strikes and still shoots this ball well back into CF. Smooth LHH - shortened approach w/ two strikes. Athletic profile and very intriguing bat-to-ball skills. #WWBA @Florida_PG
Jonathan Acosta (‘25 FL) w/ a good piece of hitting from the left side - smokes this 2B into RF. The swing plane is impressive here as he turns this hands down to get the barrel to a ball down and in. Smooth operator out at shortstop as well. #WWBA @Florida_PG

Jonathan Acosta ('25,FL) • Strong/Wiry frame. Good bat speed allows him to get to the pitch to shoot it over the 1B head. Good top of the order bat right now. As he gets stronger can see him falling into more of a run producer role. Clean actions in IF w/ a good arm. Great WS
