Canadians will likely hear this week that the immigration taps are being turned on again. It's unclear they were fully off in the first place.
In any event, keep the following chart in mind and ask yourself who that policy serves, because it certainly isn't the Labour Class.
In any event, keep the following chart in mind and ask yourself who that policy serves, because it certainly isn't the Labour Class.
Canada's Mass Immigration (2017 to 2025) was the worst economic policy decision in Canadian history.
It was NOT progressive; it was, in fact, extremely REGRESSIVE.
It transferred wealth and market power:
➡️from the Young to the Old,
➡️from the Poor to the Rich,
➡️from Labour ️from the Renter Class to the Owner Class.
Prior to 2015, immigration to Canada was high and focused on high-skilled, high-wage labour.
In 2015, THIS government CHANGED the RULES, which shifted the focus to low-skilled, low-wage labour. This hurt the job prospects of young Canadians entering the labour market, put downward pressure on wages and lowered Canada's productivity. ➡️bankofcanada.ca/2025/05/staff-…)
It also increased housing costs, particularly for renters, who tend to be poorer and younger. ➡️bankofcanada.ca/publications/m…
In short, it was horrific for the youngest, poorest and most vulnerable in our society. Never mind the social upheaval it caused.
Now that Job Vacancies have normalized and rents are falling, this government is floating the idea of raising immigration. It is outrageous. Worse, it is, again, being pitched as progressive when it is not. It hurts the Working Class; Bernie Sanders was right...youtu.be/vf-k6qOfXz0
The only thing that will improve the standard of living for working-class people is productivity growth. That's it.

On Friday Western Canadian Select (WCS) differentials in Hardisty, Alberta closed at $31.10/bbl under WTI, their widest diff since the all-time largest blowout in WCS diffs in 2018.
That 2018 blowout prompted provincial production curtailment, but that wouldn't help nearly as on the far end of the pipeline.

Liberty Gold $LGD.to $LGDTF is a nice looking project but the support from elected officials and a streamlined, visible permitting process makes it even better.

Tectonic Metals $TETOF $TECT.v suffering from slow drill results & one of those 50%, or worse, pullbacks that @RealRickRule talks about.
Until the drill speaks. Shallow holes, heap leachable, RC drilling, ended in mineralization. Music to my ears.

"This is a responsible investment that's done on favourable terms," says Artificial Intelligence Minister Evan Solomon, defending Ottawa's $1.6 billion cash injection into tech firm Cohere despite refusing to disclose exactly how much of the company Canadian taxpayers now own.

We Real Canadians stand with our American cousins in the bourbon business. Nobody supports Eby & Carnage idiots.
@LDoerkson please allow American alcohol back on the shelves. North America is an integrated economy and we ought to lead by example.

Love this kind of data. Jr. Mining stocks are a lot like blackjack. You win very infrequently, but to do so you gotta count cards.
I was curious how $KFR.V stacked up against its peers in terms of how efficiently it puts cash raised into exploration.
It looks like we doing well relative to peers. Our forecast for this year indicates we will improve further (and I would expect 2027 to improve upon that). ier to improve on this metric with larger exploration spends. Our G&A will grow along with our exploration spends as things like software (Leapfrog licences are not cheap) are attributed to "office" for us when accounting but there is a limit whereas exploration theoretically does not have a $ limit.
This data was taken from MDA/Financials for a number of global peers with many BC companies included as well. I added Warratah here who might really fit as a porphyry Cu-Au comp, but their project (eptithermal IS over porphyry targets) has a lot of similarities to ours so I did it anyways. I assume if you had the original accounting data you could refine these numbers better but this should give a fairly good idea.
This doesn't cover topics like whether the exploration spend is actually justified or where the G&A is going (IE salaries, marketing, offices, software, ect...)
This post contains forward-looking information (EG KFR 2026 forecast and 2027 plans), peer data from public filings that are unverified, and it is not investment advice. DYODD.

Layoffs required to instill a little fear.

She goes on to say they are claiming health problems that don’t exist and taking appointments away from sick children 🇨🇦🖕🏼
