Huge win for the Wolverines, especially in the context of postseason resume. That's B2B Halloween upsets after they brought down Penn State a year ago today.
Michigan takes down No. 19 Indiana 25-23, 25-22, 22-25, 25-19.

Demetrician led the Wolverines with 20 kills at a .352 clip. Gordon added 16 kills. Michigan hit .358 for the match. Martin had 15 digs.

Tatum put up 13 kills for the Hoosiers, who hit .235.

Michigan had done a great job of preventing Nebraska from siding out with Jackson out of the rotation.

That hasn't been the story in this fourth set. Jackson has been pretty much unblockable on the slide attack and a much more difficult matchup for Gordon.

Andi Jackson is 7 for 16 with a season high 3 errors through the third set.

Meanwhile, Michigan's pins have been winning their matchups. Cymarah Gordon has 14 kills at a .524 clip. Ella Demetrician has grown into the game and already has a double-double w/ 16 kills, 12 digs.

Ella Demetrician calls set, tooling the ball off a Bergen Reilly block attempt. Loudest crowd pop I've ever heard at Crisler Center.

28-26, 1-0 Michigan.

Andi Jackson is now past 1000 career kills. Big one to refute another Michigan set point here.

24-24. The Wolverines have missed their last four set point opportunities.

Back to back kills for Harper Murray as Nebraska won't go away quickly in this one.

In @umichwbball’s dominant showing against @RCUWarriorsWBB, junior guard Te’Yala Delfosse showcased her versatility.

Biggest takeaways from first look at @umichwball:

- Delfosse looks like a true spot-up threat and can't be left alone in the corner

- Not much creation when Loughridge sat, team needs her to stay out of foul trouble

- Olson lived inside, played more like an off-ball 4 than a 2

Courtney Ogden has played all over the floor for Michigan tonight. Mostly wing, some point, in the post as well.

22 of Michigan's 29 first quarter points came from turnovers or putbacks.

It'll be interesting to see what it looks like when they're not getting all those extra possessions. So far, Olson has been playing off the ball more. Delfosse and Courtney Ogden getting those touches.

First player off the bench is Kendall Dudley, replacing Loughridge.

Already a couple of steals for her in full court press.

For @umichwbball veterans, passing down “Michigan culture” is about more than just what happens on the court.

Have seen posts/reporting that Big Ten schools can now pay athletes up to $49M per year.

That’s not accurate.👇

The cap on school/rev share payments remains the same ($21.5M).

What’s new is that “school arranged” third party NIL deals have now also been capped ($27.5M).
The Big Ten’s release explains how it is implementing a conference level salary cap that mirrors the PCSA.

It takes the position that the House settlement allows it to limit “school arranged” third party NIL to $27.5M per yr.

Rev share cap stays at $21.5M, for a total of $49M.

This is actually designed to limit spending. At many schools, NIL collectives like Michigan's Champions Circle work with player agents to arrange third-party deals.

Those kinds of agreements don't count toward the NCAA's $21.6M limit. Now, the Big Ten is capping them at $27.5M.
Big Ten chancellors and presidents have adopted pieces of the Protect College Sports Act, increasing the athlete spending cap from $21.6M to $49M.

Also puts penalties in place for school-affiliated third-party deals, which only apply to institutions.
