Hate to say it, but it isn't just me who is pointing this out
my unpopular opinion is that ChatGPT apps are the best distribution play rn
we spent last month shipping these for agency clients and...
+50-200% on income those apps were already doing
just you literally get an access to ~900M weekly users for free
+ you're not struggled with onboarding, since it's built on top of ChatGPT and for user who never used your product, much easier to get in via gpt interface
same product, same pricing, just new way of using your product
and the fear that OpenAI just clones you is backwards
cloning your niche is the ONE move that costs them more than it returns...
they'd rather buy you and ship it out of the box
here's exactly how to launch it:
1. pick a workflow the client already gets paid for
> not a new idea
> an existing paid workflow with proven demand
2. build it as an MCP server
> streamable HTTP on public HTTPS, usually at /mcp
> that server is the whole product surface
> UI is optional, tools come first
3. name and describe every tool like the model is reading it, because it is
> action-oriented name, a human title, a description of when to use it
> accurate annotations and a real input schema
> that metadata is what decides whether you get called at all
4. add the UI after the tools already work
> expose it as an MCP resource with a ui:// uri
> set the type to text/html;profile=mcp-app
> your built js gets inlined into that resource and runs in an iframe
5. connect it at chatgpt.com/plugins and break it yourself
> plus button, add custom MCP server
> paste the url with /mcp, create as a plugin
> run MCP Inspector first and catch the schema errors there
6. submit at platform.openai.com/plugins and overprepare
> a zip of the built plugin and publisher verification
> a privacy policy url, no privacy policy means no review
> 5 positive and 3 negative test cases
> release notes and a demo video for the reviewer
> a domain token hosted at /.well-known/openai-apps-challenge
7. keep billing on YOUR backend
> OAuth 2.1 into the account system you already have
> enforce authorization on every request, not through the model
> there is no revenue share
> the plugin is the channel and the MRR stays yours
that's absolutely free traffic and by some reason most of products skip it...
the guy below is a good case which shows real efficiency of this approach (he literally made around +$40k monthly income)

Is the leaked postiz firing creative marketing? absolutely
but that doesn't mean you should do it for your app
Nevo already has proven PMF and a great product, so he can afford to take riskier bets like this
instead you can just read this article with everything I'd do app starting today with full prompts/workflows spelled out for you

this organic video hit 6.4M views, 23k reposts and 11.7k comments in under 48 hours
and you'd never guess it's promoting a food analysis app
this is a PERFECT example of a seamless app integration, which we ran for Cal AI and helped us scale to $50M ARR
this doesn't work for cuted flawlessly (like in this video), you can change your business and life overnight

agentic editing is literally insane, there's almost no need for entire editing teams soon
i've already been testing out opus 5.5 and it is crazy what you can do
i've already been testing out opus 5.5 and it is crazy what you can do
Goodbye Davinci, goodbye Premiere. We don't need you anymore... You should be editing entirely in Codex or Claude Code.
Here's exactly how to do it.

your imagination is the only limiting factor when making Ai animation ads
they print, but formats can fatigue quicker than other ad types
hence the need to stay ahead of the curve and test out different styles and visuals like this one from Iman
they print, but formats can fatigue quicker than other ad types
hence the need to stay ahead of the curve and test out different styles and visuals like this one from Iman
saw iman run this INFOTAINMENT style ad
this ad format is SNEAKY
low poly 3D world. calm narrator explaining
gives those old school informative youtube vibes,
the kind of explainer you'd binge at 2am without noticing the time
then somewhere around "financial goals" it tch for a second stream of income
why it works:
- no talking head, no lipsync, zero "hey guys" energy that screams sponsored
- word by word captions keep your eyes locked
- one red character so your brain always knows who the story is about
- one render style + one voiceover + a pile of short scenes.
dirt cheap to make with AI, no actors, no faces to keep consistent
you've watched 100 seconds before you realize it's an ad
by then it's too late
tell me this isn't the most underrated ad format on IG rn

yooo this is crazy
between Wan 3.0 and now Kling 4.0, the next Seedance update has to be insane to keep up with how good these cheaper models are

Finally had time to test Kling 4 - and I’m quite impressed.
This is a four character video swap that’s nearly perfect on the first try. And it’s much faster and cheaper than Seedance 2.5.
👏 to the @Kling_ai team. Love to see some competition!

wtf you HAVE to listen to this
move over elevenlabs
we're all screwed, how are we expected to tell the difference between AI and real human voices
move over elevenlabs
we're all screwed, how are we expected to tell the difference between AI and real human voices
We believe voice is the most natural way to interact with intelligence, so we created Dessa, the most authentic full-duplex speech model ever built. Talking with it feels like talking with a person…full of emotion, nuance, pauses, and a natural cadence.

holy smokes this is a literal cheat code for 10xing your app growth
so you're telling me I can now...
> paste a competitor's funnel URL and get my own version back in my brand colors
> turn a Figma file into a live funnel
> ask who's growing fastest in my niche and copy the paywall pind my biggest onboarding drop-off from the last 30 days and get claude to rework that screen
> see what my paying users answered in the quiz and rebuild the funnel around them
> take what makes my best funnel convert and apply it to my worst one
> change prices across every paywall and checkout with one prompt
> adapt my best funnel for every country with local pricing, copy, and social proof
> edit 20 funnels at the same time
all from Claude Code, with the FunnelFox MCP
everything saves as a draft, so nothing goes live until I hit publish
changing even one thing about your web2app funnels used to require a designer or developer and days of waiting
now it takes about two minutes to set up and then you can make any change you want right from the terminal
just follow these steps:
1. /plugin marketplace, and add fnlfx/ai
2. /plugin install funnelfox
3. Sign in once, then run /funnelfox:start
Check it out for yourself: funnelfox.com/?utm_source=ja…

Today is my last day at Cal AI.
Less than 3 years ago, I was sitting in meetings I didn't care about, reviewing PowerPoints that didn't matter, and wondering if I was going to waste my entire life never reaching my potential.
Today, I'm walking away from a company that changed hard to even put into words what I'm feeling right now.
When we started Cal AI, my goal wasn't to get rich.
I wasn't dreaming about an exit.
I literally just wanted to make enough money to quit my job.
I just wanted to bet on myself, that's it.
I just wanted to wake up every morning and feel like I was actually doing something with my life.
What happened next was beyond anything I could have imagined.
There were 20-hour workdays, weeks where I barely slept, days where I'd lose my voice from spending so many hours on the phone with influencer managers.
I remember spending Thanksgiving coordinating with influencers for a $25,000 giveaway while everyone else was enjoying the holiday.
There were countless moments where my entire life revolved around getting one more creator to post, one more campaign live, one more thing across the finish line.
And I loved every second of it.
Because for the first time in my life, I felt like I was exactly where I was supposed to be.
I wasn't watching the clock waiting to go home anymore.
I was looking at the clock wishing there were more hours in the day.
Fast forward less than 3 years and that simple ChatGPT wrapper has given me things I never thought possible.
I'm financially free.
My family is financially free.
And I'm now in a position to help change the lives of the people closest to me.
All because of an app that lets you take pictures of your food.
Life is insane.
But none of this would have been possible if not for the team around me:
@blakeandersonw you took a chance on me when you didn't have to, and I will spend the rest of my life trying to prove you right.
You're one of the best entrepreneurs I've ever met, but more importantly, one of the best human beings.
You have a heart of gold, and I've learned more from you than you'll ever know.
@henrylangmack you're genuinely one of the kindest and smartest people I've ever met.
You've shown me that you can be an incredible businessman without sacrificing being a good person.
@zach_yadegari I genuinely believe you're going to become one of the greatest entrepreneurs of our generation.
Your ambition is contagious, and I cannot wait to watch you take over the world.
@A1fiedickens15 you are the American dream. Watching how much you've grown has been one of the most rewarding parts of this entire experience. I'm so proud of you, and I know you're just getting started.
Dinesh, Fish and the entire MFP team, words cannot convey my gratitude. Whatever you need from me, for now and forever, I got you covered.
And to everyone else at Cal AI, I owe you more than I could ever repay.
I'd run through a wall for every single one of you.
It's funny.
Three years ago, I was terrified that I was going to waste my life.
Today, I'm terrified I'll never get to experience something quite like this again.
Your entire life can change in a matter of months.
You just have to be willing to bet on yourself. Safest bet you’ll ever make.
Thank you, Cal AI
One last thing: Move fast

The hardest part of influencer outreach is convincing creators you're legit.
A real dashboard, real contracts, and on-time upfront payments do more for that than any DM script

Chris is one of the side hustle online money GOATs
I truly believe anyone could watch a few of his YT videos and run up a 10-50k business basically overnight, especially with how good AI is now
and because he literally breaks down exactly what you can do to copy him 1:1
crazy

I asked an AI agent to make me money. It did.
This is one of the best videos I've ever made. I rarely post my YT videos here to X unless I am especially proud of them.
This is a rare one. YT link is in the comments if that's your preference.

tiktok pro tip for those doing apps:
instead of grabbing images from random people on pinterest, create cute art work (using ai)
viewers won't call you out for fake advertising or using ai for that matter as comic stuff is super hard to identify as ai
it's also much more when someone's not aware of your page
and finally, people will have a much easier time remembering you

You can get an app from 0 to 1 on gut feel and grinding your ass off
But the ONLY way to get from 1 to 100 comes down to your ability to analyze and understand your own data and adjust quickly
- Where users drop in onboarding and why
- Which features people keep coming back for
- What screen they saw right before they canceled
That’s the true ceiling of any consumer app, full stop
