@jack @callebtc Sounds like living under Stasi law “Article 3 of the Provisions on the Security Assessment of Internet-based
Information Services with Attribute of Public Opinions or Capable of Social Mobilization” 😱

@jack Why is it so hard to believe that the internet was never ours and will never be, if we do not rebuild it from the ground up?

What happened in China can happen everywhere.
The internet was never truly ours.
It was built by governments, military and large institutions - to control information, not free it!

Yes, it became a tool for connection.
Yes, it gave us powerful ways to share, learn, create.

But look closer at its foundation:
- The cables and owned by megacorps.
- The satellites and networks? Controlled by governments and telcos.
- The devices we use? Filled with closed chips and black boxes.
- The platforms we rely on? Run by surveillance-driven business models.

Everything runs on infra we don’t control, through gateways we don’t own, with rules we didn’t set.

And the deeper you go, the worse it gets:
- DNS: the phonebook of the internet -> centralized.
- App stores: the gatekeepers of what software you’re allowed to use -> centralized.
- ISPs: your access to the web -> trackable and throttle-able.
- Clouds: where your data lives -> not yours, not private.
- Chips: proprietary and possibly backdoored.

Even encryption, even browsers, even email -> all rely on layers built by institutions with their own interests.

So what looked like freedom…
Was mostly permissioned access dressed up as innovation.

It’s not that the internet is a scam in what it became.
It’s that it wasn’t built for us in the first place.

Now, it’s tough to rewire it.
To rebuild a version that puts power in people’s hands.

Not just new apps… but new hardware, new networks, new culture.

That world doesn’t exist yet… but the work has already begun.

There are builders - people with clear values, good intentions and the courage to try.

People working on real alternatives: new infra, new protocols, new devices.

But tools alone aren’t enough. They need people! Community. Us.

People to use them, test them, support them, share them.

Now is the time to find each other.
To connect these dots.

We are MILLIONS of likeminded people…

And the power we hold is unstoppable.

Drop the names of the tools, builders, projects or movements you believe in.
Let’s connect the dots.
Let’s lift each other up.

@jack Chasing apps, chasing wealth balance matters. Finance wisdom: value over flashy downloads. Money mindset: keep hunger, sharpen discipline. Poverty teaches, planning reshapes futures. Simple nets save big, live lean. Life profits from slow, steady gains.
