I’ve been trying to catch up on the progress being made across the $BEM ecosystem after some time off the markets.
and despite the disappointing price action, the growth of the @TapeOutWorld ecosystem has been nothing short of impressive! between @okx support, hackathons bringing in new talented builders and more projects joining the ecosystem, the fundamentals continue to strengthen while the market seems to be looking the other way.
Imo there’s a massive discrepancy between $BEM’s current valuation and the actual progress being made across the @TapeOutWorld ecosystem. I believe it’s a matter of when, not if, $BEM begins to outperform the broader market.
I’m also incredibly impressed by the amount of work the @TapeOutCF foundation set and led by @BruceBlue whom i have a huge deal of respect for, he’s led this initiative and has been putting a lot of effort alongside @Blonskr @bitcoin2themars @blueshirt666 @martin23_sen @web3kexin and many core contributors to accelerate ecosystem growth, support builders, organize hackathons, and push the entire vision forward.

this is a sentiment shared by almost everyone in crypto right now. theres a reason we dont hear the term web3 anymore and its cos we’ve collectively accepted that as an industry, we’ve failed to deliver on that original vision.

A few thoughts about Paris, France and the state of the world in general:
1. What happened yesterday is bad, but not as bad as it looks. Yes, they burnt the town hall of another city; yes, they pillaged shops and ruined some people’s lives; but it’s in line with previous protests and still confined to specific (shitty) areas. Basically: “don’t go to the 10th arrondissement and you’ll be fine” is a piece of advice I’d give every day, protest or not.
2. Yes, it’s true, immigration doesn’t work, but it’s not the main problem. It’d be easy to call for mass deportation, but a much simpler, fairer and better solution would be to… enforce the law. Yes, it’s that simple. Put these people in jail for a long time. We should merely remember that jail’s purpose is primarily to remove toxic individuals from society and that it’s OK to throw someone in prison if it’s justified and socially optimal.
3. It’s bigger than that. What’s happening is a collapse of social-democratic regimes. Tocqueville wrote that democracy narrows any inequality down to either corruption or merit. And since it’s pretty hard to admit you’re dumb, people tend to flock to revolts against the system. One way to fight that is strong growth, but there hasn’t been growth for the past 30 years. As a result, we have to deal with an increasingly angry crowd.
4. It’s not only France. France is always pretty loud about these issues, but the same is happening everywhere. You can think it’s exclusively due to immigration, but one simple rebuttal is that this anger is shared by people of various classes and ethnicities across most Western countries.
5. The truth is that our economies are collapsing and have been collapsing for the past 30 years. Up until now, we’ve made up for it with debt. But even that is coming to an end. Individually, this doesn’t mean there is no money to make, but as a group, we’re getting poorer and using as many credit cards as we can to pretend we’re not.

I’ve been taking a break from socials and trading, but every time I occasionally log in to catch up on the latest developments in the @TapeOutWorld ecosystem, I’m blown away by how much progress is being made.
one of the projects that’s really stood out to me is @tapeupio. growing rapidly, with over 2% of BEM’s total supply now staked on TapeUp, offering attractive yields while putting $BEM to work and its circuits already up 10x from launch (built by an OG DeFi team from the @BNBCHAIN) definitely one to keep an eye on.
the ecosystem, builders, contributors, and major metrics are all growing at an incredible pace. I genuinely believe @TapeOutWorld ($BEM) is one of the most exciting things happening in all of crypto space rn, and I couldn’t be more bullish on what’s being built here.
$BEM is in my view, an investment not a trade, exactly the kind of non-consensus opportunity you want to position yourself in before it becomes consensus as the metrics explode and the progress becomes impossible to ignore.
honestly, I can barely log off for two or three days without coming back to an overwhelming amount of progress and I haven’t been able to keep up with, and also a vibrant community that’s building non stop towards a common goal and mission.
@TapeOutWorld ($BEM) is still under the radar relative to what’s being built on CT and even moreso outside of CT and that’s what makes it an extremely asymmetrical bet here as we’re still insanely early. and I don’t think that lasts forever.
kudos to @okx @XLayerOfficial @wallet @zakk_okx @misaENFP for pushing forward and contributing to the growth of the ecosystem and organizing hackathons and the latest 100k usdt prize to builders. @okx has proven itself to be at the forefront of innovations in this space since the earliest days of crypto and it’s great to see its still the case till today.
