God did wonders for me in 2022 that only He could have done.
MY TRUE LIFE TESTIMONY
On 2nd January 2022, I was involved in a very serious automobile accident. We had a head-on collision with an oncoming motorcycle that literally rode straight at us around 7:03 pm.
The guy on fast it looked as if he was on a suicidal mission. I saw everything live because I was sitting right behind our driver; even the driver couldn’t see what was happening as clearly as I did. I had to tap the driver and warn him that the bike was coming straight at us, but by the time he realised, we had already collided.
Instantly after the impact, both our car and the bike caught fire. Our car lost control and swerved into the bush while still burning. In that moment it dawned on me that only the mercy of God could bring us out alive from a blazing, moving car.
Just as the car was slowing down inside the bush, with fire all over the bonnet and spreading toward the back, something prompted me to try the door handle. I did, the door opened, I dived out, fell to the ground, stood up, and followed the car to where it finally stopped.
One thing that still baffles me to this day is that even after the car stopped, the remaining passengers couldn’t get out on their own. I was the one who brought them all out except the driver.
Thank God the bush we entered had ridges; that was probably what made the car stop after only a short distance. We put the fire out with sand and whatever else we could find, so only part of the car got burnt.
The guy on the bike died instantly next to his bike, which burned to ashes.
Funny enough, the next day I was supposed to travel to school for my postgraduate examinations. We later secured another car that took us home, and I couldn’t sleep all night because I kept having flashbacks and PTSD.
To God be the glory—I’m still alive today by the mercies of God.
