who makes good launch videos with a fast turnaround?

a bunch of founders i'm working with either can't find a solid video agency, or they have one but they're slow/bad.

they'd love to spend $5 to $10k for a ~2 minute video. i think the ideal experience is an agency that spends an hour with the founders (interviewing and recording b-roll) and turns the finished product around in 1-2 days.

i'd love to send a bunch of business your way if you can do this well.

funny part is @paulg funded the company doing this back in YC W14

they've quietly processed 21M+ orders via API and just shipped a free MCP so Claude / Cursor can search & buy across Amazon, Walmart, Etsy and every Shopify store without an Amazon agent:

Amazon banning agents is the first opportunity I've seen since Amazon was founded for a startup to create an Amazon competitor. People will want agents to buy stuff for them. It will be one of the main use cases. And they won't want to use some Amazon-supplied agent to do it.

The 30+ year/Capex investment Amazon put into distribution/selection I’m not sure will be uncrowned

I think it’s a matter of:
- What are the new ad surface protocols to share/foward the amazon ad platform OR
- Cost of everything just goes up because ads are subsidizing prices

we built Restock, an agent to automate ordering office supplies using @link by @stripe - pens, groceries, and more. it's open source, so you can fork it, modify it, and deploy it yourself with `mda deploy`

payments are handled via @mpp. Restock is a great example of a complex use case which handles user authentication, secure secrets storage, and human-in-the-loop payments approval.

You can now build an agent that:
🔎 Finds real products
🛒 Prepares purchases
💳 Pays
…with a person approving every order 👨‍💻

Ask in @SlackHQ, review the order, approve in @stripe's Link agent wallet.

Built on MPP + Managed Deep Agents.

the problem here is no company wants to be an API and lose the customer relationship to the agent

there are only a few endgames here:
- retailers give in and die
- cat/mouse game forever
- agents serve ads/share customer info
Today we’re announcing Personal Agent Protocol — an open standard @Meta and @SierraPlatform are developing along with industry partners at @Genesys, @instinct, @RocketOTD, @Shopify, @stripe, and @Walmart. It will help define how personal agents interact with businesses and is ement. You can read more here - and if anyone is interested in joining let me know! sierra.ai/blog/introduci…

.@moeamaya is one of the most thoughtful builders operating <see what i did there> today and its amazing to see Operate go live today

If you have a growing, high-performing sales team, reach out! 📈
We believe that software doesn’t close deals. You do.

Excited to introduce Operate, the collaborative AI tool built for frontier sales teams.

TLDR; Rethought from the ground up, we connect your whole sales stack (CRM, calls, inbox, and more) to surface where every deal stands leaders get a forecast they trust and don’t have to DM their reps on Slack for status updates and data hygiene issues. Sales reps can stay out of the CRM and the tedious toil of admin.

We’re working with growing sales teams (3-50 reps) on making AI actually effective for sales including mapping the pipeline, routing to agents/deterministic paths, implementing real workflows, and tracking goal progress.

If this resonates, sign up to the waitlist. If you are a good fit, the form will redirect so you can schedule a chat with one of our co-founders.
