3 MONTHS WITH THE IQUNIX EV63 “GHOST IN THE SHELL” EDITION.
I think three months is enough time to move past the honeymoon phase and actually say whether a piece of gear is good or not.
And somehow, my opinion on this keyboard has only ted and used a lot of gaming keyboards over the years, but the EV63 Ghost in the Shell is genuinely the best keyboard I’ve ever played on.
At first, the obvious selling point was the design. The transparent Ghost in the Shell keycaps, the aluminum case, the cyberpunk details and that mint RGB combination still look ridiculously good on my desk. Three months later, I STILL haven’t changed the lighting to my usual rainbow setup, which probably says enough by itself.
But after using it every day, the looks honestly became the least important part.
What keeps me on this keyboard is how consistent it feels.
The KEYTOK Nova switches are still probably my favourite part of the board. I mentioned this before, but compared to the X Pro switches, every single keypress feels much more defined to me. There’s a very clear sense of where the key is under my finger and exactly when I’m pressing or releasing it.
And in games like VALORANT and CS, I love that.
Movement feels extremely controlled, counter-strafing feels natural and after months of playing on it, switching to another keyboard genuinely feels strange.
Performance-wise, there’s not much more I could ask for.
HyperCore V3, 8KHz polling rate, 16KHz scanning rate, 0.01 mm Rapid Trigger, adjustable actuation and 0.125 ms claimed latency. On paper those numbers are impressive, but after three months the most important thing for me is that the keyboard simply feels FAST without ever feeling inconsistent.
No random inputs. No weird behaviour. No moment where I feel like the keyboard is fighting against me.
And that might actually be the biggest compliment I can give it.
It just disappears when I’m playing.
You stop thinking about the keyboard and start thinking about the game.
The build quality has also aged extremely well. The aluminum case still feels ridiculously solid, nothing feels loose, nothing has started rattling, and the whole keyboard still feels like a premium piece of hardware every time I put my hands on it.
I originally thought the Ghost in the Shell edition would mainly be a collector’s version of an already great keyboard.
Three months later, I see it completely differently.
It’s not just one of the best-looking keyboards I own.
It’s the keyboard I actually want to play on every single day.
And after three months of VALORANT, CS and normal everyday use, I can confidently say:
This is the best gaming keyboard I’ve ever used.
The honeymoon phase is over.
The EV63 is still on my desk.
And I don’t see that changing anytime soon.

Myślę, że trzy miesiące to już wystarczająco długo, żeby minął efekt nowości i można było naprawdę powiedzieć, czy dany sprzęt jest dobry.
I co ciekawe — przez ten czas moja opinia o tej klawiaturze zrobiła się jeszcze lepsza.
Przez lata przewinęło mi się naprawdę sporo gamingowych klawiatur, ale EV63 Ghost in the Shell jest bez dwóch zdań najlepszą klawiaturą, na jakiej do tej pory grałem.
Na początku największe wrażenie robił oczywiście wygląd. Przezroczyste keycapy z motywem Ghost in the Shell, aluminiowy case, cyberpunkowe detale i miętowe podświetlenie nadal wyglądają na biurku ABSURDALNIE dobrze. Po trzech miesiącach NADAL nie zmieniłem RGB na moje standardowe rainbow, co chyba najlepiej pokazuje, jak bardzo ten design mi siadł.
Tylko że po codziennym używaniu wygląd stał się chyba najmniej istotnym elementem tej klawiatury.
Najbardziej przekonuje mnie jej powtarzalność.
KEYTOK Nova nadal są prawdopodobnie moją ulubioną częścią całej konstrukcji. Pisałem o tym już wcześniej, ale względem X Pro każdy klik jest dla mnie znacznie bardziej wyczuwalny. Dokładnie czuję klawisz pod palcem, moment jego wciśnięcia i moment puszczenia.
I przy VALORANCIE czy CS-ie jest to dla mnie ogromny plus.
Movement jest bardzo kontrolowany, counter-strafing wychodzi naturalnie, a po kilku miesiącach grania na EV63 przesiadka na inną klawiaturę jest po prostu… dziwna.
Jeżeli chodzi o performance, ciężko mi znaleźć coś, czego jeszcze mógłbym oczekiwać.

I chyba właśnie to jest największym komplementem, jaki mogę jej dać.
