What’s ironic is that Vision did not allow himself to admit that he was The Vision because he couldn’t come to terms that he was grieving over the death of his wife. His idea that “I’m not him, therefore I can’t grieve Wanda” was what made him feel like a tin man for years.
His grief is that love preserving.
