3/ How Grey Worm Actually Took It

No dragons. No battering ram. No siege towers.

Midnight. High tide. The Unsullied come from the sea. No ropes - they free-climb the wet cliffs of the Rock with daggers in their teeth.

First team slips through Tyrion's sewer. Opens the Lion's Mouth gate from inside. Second team floods in.

Lannister guards wake up to spears already in the courtyard.

This is why the Unsullied are elite. No fear of heights, death, drowning. They are programmed. Grey Worm kills a Lannister captain with one thrust and keeps walking. Doesn't even breathe hard.

By dawn, the Lannister lion banner is on the ground. The Unsullied banner is up. In hours.

4/ The "Oh Shit" Moment

Grey Worm walks to the cliff edge to signal Daenerys' fleet for pickup.

And he sees it. Sails on the horizon. Not Dany's. Euron Greyjoy's.

Euron is burning their ships one by one. Laughing. The Silence with its red sails.

Grey Worm's lieutenant: "We are stranded."

In Westeros. In Lannister land. With no food, no cavalry, no way back to Dragonstone which is 1000 miles away.

Most commanders would fortify and die there.

Grey Worm looks at the burning ships for 5 seconds, turns around:

"Leave the wounded. We march to Highgarden. Now."

And they march. Full armor. Under the sun. No complaints.

5/ Why It Was A Trap

Jaime knew Tyrion would go for Casterly Rock. Tywin taught Jaime that Tyrion would always be emotional about home.

So Jaime moved the gold. Moved the army. Moved the food.

Grey Worm took an empty castle. A rock with no gold in its mines anymore, no food in its stores, no soldiers worth killing.

At the exact same hour, Jaime was taking Highgarden - the food capital of Westeros - and killing Olenna Tyrell.

Tyrion took his father's castle. Jaime took the food that would feed Dany's army. Checkmate.

Cersei even says it: "We had nothing there for you. Your clever brother knew you'd come."

That one night decided S7. Dany lost her supply line, and Grey Worm had to walk across the entire continent just to get back into the war.

Pure general energy, but played by a better general.

Taking Casterly Rock.

This was never about Casterly Rock. It was about Tyrion trying to prove he's a Lannister and Grey Worm proving he's more than a soldier.

Full thread:

1/ The Castle That Never Fell

Casterly Rock is not a castle. It's a mountain turned into a castle. Carved into solid rock on the coast. 3x the size of Winterfell. Gold mines underneath it.

In 300 years of Lannister rule, no army ever took it. Robb Stark couldn't. Stannis couldn't. Robert's rebellion didn't even try.

Tywin told Tyrion: "Casterly Rock will never fall to you." That line mattered.

2/ Tyrion's Revenge Plan

When Tyrion was 16, Tywin humiliated him by making him Master of Sewers at Casterly Rock. Clean the shit. Literally.

So Tyrion mapped every tunnel, every drain, every smuggler's cove. And built one secret entrance for the whores so the guards wouldn't catch them.

10 years later, he uses that whore-door to invade his own home.

He gives the plan to Grey Worm not with "take my home" but with "this is how we win the war."

But it was personal. He wanted to walk into his father's bedroom as a conqueror.

Birth rates below replacement are not a vibe. They are a hard constraint on every long-term plan.
Pensions, labor force, innovation base: all shrink if the next generation doesn’t show up.
Policy that ignores this is just short-term extraction.
Demographics are destiny with a e and the bill arrives later.

I let my mother defend my husband for six months after I told her what he did. She said every marriage has problems and I should be grateful he still came home. She kept inviting us over for dinner and acting like nothing was wrong. Last Sunday I sat at her kitchen table and showed her the messages he sent to her own sister. She read them twice. Then she put the phone down and asked me why I would bring that into her house. I told her because she kept telling me I was overreacting. She hasn’t called me since. She hasn’t called him either. My sister said she asked her not to get involved. I still don’t know if that means she believes me now or if she just doesn’t want to talk about it.

I transferred my husband’s entire bonus into an account he couldn’t access the same day I found out about the second phone. He spent the next week asking if I was okay because I seemed distant. I told him I was just tired from work. He made dinner two nights in a row and kept checking if I wanted anything. On Friday he tried to log into the account to pay a bill and realized the money was gone. He came into the living room and asked me what happened. I was folding laundry. I looked at him and asked which version of his life he wanted me to help him pay for. He didn’t answer. He just stood there for a minute, then went back to the bedroom and closed the door. I finished the laundry. He hasn’t brought up the money again.

I paid for my best friend’s wedding dress knowing she was marrying the man I was still sleeping with. She kept thanking me for being there for her and saying she couldn’t have done it without me. I went to the fittings and told her the dress looked perfect. Two days before the wedding he called me from his car and asked if I would still leave with him. I told him no. Then I called her and asked if she could meet me at the dress shop. I sat across from her and told her everything, starting from the first time it happened. She didn’t cry right away. She just kept asking me when. I answered every question. She said she needed time. He texted me later that night asking why I ruined everything. I didn’t reply. The wedding was called off. She still has the dress.

I invited my husband’s ex to our anniversary dinner. He froze when he saw her walk in. She thought I was trying to humiliate her. I had already ordered her favorite wine before she sat down. She looked at me like she was waiting for the joke. I asked her how long they had actually been over. She glanced at him, then answered before he could speak. She said it had never really stopped. He put his fork down and stared at the table. I didn’t say anything else for the rest of the night. I just ate and listened while the two of them tried not to look at each other. When the check came, she offered to split it. I told her it was fine. He drove us home in silence. She texted me later and said she was sorry. I haven’t replied yet.

Just a generic German ripoff of (Stranger Things), but with way too many family trees to keep track of. Literally unwatchable if you don't take notes.
