I’ve been informed that there is now a Facebook impersonator trying to charge money for stories. I’ve reported them.
So scammers continue to impersonate me and some of my colleagues on Instagram to try to scam artists for money. Pinning this again: they keep switching accounts, but my only real one is instagram.com/hiattb. Current fake accounts they're using are "hiattb_" and "hiatt_"

For @RollingStone I wrote about DC’s Absolute phenomenon — speaking to the creators, shop owners, and fans about how the freedom from continuity and political edge have reinvigorated superhero comics.

I’m not dying for young people to be interested in the same artists I was at their age, but I will say it’s important to do the knowledge on anything you’re interested in lol like I can’t imagine not going back to explore Stevie Wonder’s music because it’s “old.”

Andrew Watt clears the air on why a new @BlackSabbath album didn't happen and @tonyiommi saying Watt was “too excited about it.”

“Long story short, and without going into it too deeply, [Bill Ward] was unable to do the album for personal reasons. And there was a nice, beautiful, of us...Then after we talked and it was like, okay, Bill can't do it then there's no reason to do it. I'm sure Tony didn't feel like going into all of that. Tony's awesome. He's a great friend to me.”

Before the “Danceteria Afterhours” remix ever happened, Andrew Watt was the one who put @Madonna and @charli_xcx in a group chat:

“They just needed to be friends. They're both so awesome and so cool...they're both extremely detailed producers. Know exactly what they want to es them feel. Very technical, like ‘turn this up a db or down, or it needs to be a bit bright. The EQ needs to change here.’”

Andrew Watt joins The Rolling Stone Studio and opens up about his collaborative relationship with @ladygaga:

“Our foundation of music and our references are very aligned. So it feels like my sister, you know? Like my older sister, a couple years older than me. When we sit, we when it's an electronic song and I'm on the guitar and she's on the piano, we're sitting head to head and going through the song...It's like, it's one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. It's brought me to tears multiple times.”

Prince mentioned “Rock Steady” to me as an example of supreme live-band groove that he saw as a lost or dying art
I need a bass player who really knows their craft—great with rhythms and grooves. If you understand the importance of “rock steady” by Aretha.... show me
