Two sides of a different discussion. Inquiry framed learning is better for learning concepts, direct instruction is better for content learning. A combination - priceless.

Our Years 3-6 learners loved their World of Maths incursion today. This was an event that took a lot of planning, but it was worth it! Craftsmanship and collaboration at its finest 💪#enrichment #handsonmaths #opac

The best leaders are also the best followers.
They follow a purpose, cause, or belief bigger than themselves.

Fortunate to be led by Dr Ruth Phillips today about all things Gifted Ed. The more I find out the less I know, which is a thrilling feeling 🙌 sorry to all my desk buddies at school tomorrow that will get their ears talked off (on brand) #gifteded #womeninleadership

Maths launch task I implemented during my placement with year 3. It was a great way to get the students engaged in their learning based on money! #ACUedu_p

Smile. Be interested. Understand small stuff to you may be big stuff to them. Allow them to get to know you (with boundaries obviously). Remind them they are valued each day.
Q1 - What are some practical strategies Ts can use to promote student wellbeing in the classroom? #aussieED @mattoman71

Boundaries are so important. Set a timer for your working day to end. Choose one day of the week after lessons end to prep for the next week and stick to it. Also realize that looking after yourself and your students aren’t mutually exclusive. You can do them at the same time.
Q2 - How can Ts prioritize their own wellbeing while also supporting the wellbeing of their Ss? #aussieED @mattoman71
