no hook was used, just public fallback which allowed creation of a pool with a fake token (deployed 2 blocks prior). the safe actually had 53,000 arsETH in it and only had 3,000 taken ($8m). one of the five largest arseth borrowers.

🚨Blockaid exploit detection system detected an exploit on an unidentified user's Safe on Ethereum.
~$7.73M confirmed rsETH loss so far.
An attacker used a public keeper multicall to drive a custom Uni V4 LP Safe module into an attacker-created hooked pool; the hook unwrapped aEthrsETH to rsETH.
Yoink MEV-extracted in-block.

@herd_eco shipped B20 support before we even launched the tokenized stock product. as a Base data engineer I'm so stoked to build with herd in my agent kit day2day
we added first class support for B20 precompiles on herd, I believe we're the first explorer to correctly show its abi/code, deployments, and tx decoding.
this includes:
- B20 factory
- B20 asset/stablecoin
- ActivationRegistry
- PolicyRegistry

Anyone involved in vaults should read about the summer fi hack. They're coming for you next, and they likely understand your vaults' exposures better than you do.
The summer fi $6m exploit deserves more attention. The exposure here took months to materialize due to five unrelated factors, it wasn't possible after just one config change.
This is a cautionary tale for ALL vaults on the layers of pricing and liquidity 👇

Quick breakdown of AA FalconXUSDC ($144m TVL)
- $100k Royco junior tranche held by 1 wallet, for the required 3% coverage
- $2.6m Royco senior tranche held by a @makinafi calibar and then rolls up to the srRoyUSDC vault
- $77m (half) is held in morpho, with @gauntlet_xyz and finance vaults supplying against it
- $30m held in a single EOA (deposit address?)
- $1m held by @creditcoop_xyz wallet
All visible in a few seconds on @herd_eco 😉

Pretty neat that folks are paying a 12% risk premium to sit in a senior version of Pareto's AA FalconXUSDC.
Tranching is cool.

new homepage 😇
an inventory of Herd's core offerings:
- Token balance sheets with risk reporting and monitoring (in beta)
- MCP/CLI block explorer (never manually browse etherscan again)
- Human readable contracts and transactions, with deeper data than any other platform isualization to map out function relationships across contracts and wallets in real transactions
- Reusable simulation/execution actions using our json spec HAL (and tevm), creating shareable onchain api collections
our product is already being leveraged by dozens of the top teams to research manage digital assets at scale :)
we're starting to provide white glove services as well for teams who want to take their portfolio/protocol to the next level, DMs are open ✉️

Herd is a great tool to understand protocol risk and potential liquidity windfalls.
We analysed apxUSD through Herd and Pendle has an exposure of $140M, Morpho $25M
At a smaller scale Curve, Royco and Aeordrome also have exposure.

What are all the positions affected by apyx and the STRC depeg?
50+ tokens and vaults are intertwined in apxUSD across pendle, morpho, termmax, infinifi, neutrl, royco, beefy, and more (cross chain too on base and bsc).
I break down the apxUSD balance sheet graph here:

a hundred or so tokens covered by doubleclick now 👀
pretty cool to watch the agent start to scale and run into other tokens while building the graph. am also learning that the operations of these tokens are even more wild and complex that I could have imagined 🤣

tGLD is a tokenized gold RWA issued by tenbin, launched last week. But how does it actually work?
Our agent built a balance sheet graph that shows the transparent structure of the asset at a glance, using onchain data and attestations from their TEE 👀

The age of one-time token due diligence is over. A given "token" can easily involve 300+ changing contracts.
We've built a balance sheet graph for every token, so you can see all protocol/token dependencies and then model economic and operational risks.

building a skill that can turn anyone into a competent onchain sleuth / smart contract auditor.
using my @NousResearch agent and @herd_eco mcp.
input a smart contract -> publish an HTML audit page with deployer profile, function map, risk notes, dependencies...etc
walkthrough 👇
skill, why skills matter
0:22 — herd MCP by @andrewhong5297
0:47 — configuring herd as CLI + MCP
1:03 — the goal: contract → HTML audit page
1:16 — agent writes the skill (live)
1:44 — drawing the architecture
2:36 — skill = workflow (tools + instructions)
3:12 — here.now by @adamludwin publishing the output
4:13 — testing on an NFT contract
5:17 — output
5:54 — every time I get a contract: run the skill
6:07 — expertise matters — auditors would push this further
6:48 — swappable tools — Alchemy, OpenSea, any API
7:18 — why this kind of engineering gets more valuable

just added a highly requested features - we now support diamond proxies in herd!
I call it "signature implementation" since there are plenty of teams who use this implementation-forwarding-per-signature pattern without actually using the diamond standard.
fun to see some tions across implementations lol
