Learning to appreciate the journey. Had I been given everything I prayed for immediately, I would’ve destroyed it because I hadn’t gone through what was necessary in order to become the version of myself that I needed to be in order to handle and properly steward what it was I was asking for.

I wanted it to be as quick as I see it for others. But their capacity may have been different from my own. My challenges aren’t their challenges. And their timeline is not my timeline.

My ascent has been gradual because my growth has been gradual. It’ll happen when I’m ready.

Endurance serves a purpose.
