The DOJ has ONE WEEK left to charge Anthony Fauci for the worst cover-up in modern medical history.

He lied to Congress about funding gain-of-function research in Wuhan. Millions died. Trillions were spent. And Fauci walked away with book deals and fawning media coverage instead of handcuffs. I re-upped my criminal referral to the DOJ because the evidence is overwhelming, and justice has been delayed long enough.

RT if you’re ready to see Fauci behind bars.

Luke 21

The Coming of the Son of Man

Jesus tells his disciples that there will be great signs in the sun, moon, stars, and on earth before the second coming of Christ. It is also made pretty clear that the second coming will be visible to all. Jesus will come back on clouds in great glory.

In Matthew 24, Jesus mentions false christs and false prophets will perform great signs and wonders to lead people astray, not denying that they will perform attention grabbing “miracles.” However, He says people will say the Messiah is in the wilderness or in the inner rooms, and to not believe them. As lighting is seen across the sky by many, the return of the Son of Man will be similar.

Invest in your eternity and don’t be weighed down with the cares of this temporary life.

To God be the glory.

Highly recommend the Shawn Ryan podcast with Jeremiah Johnston for a crazy amount of historical and archeological evidence for the life and resurrection of Jesus.

It’s Easter Week. The most important week in history!

Don’t let people bog you down with a-historical silliness in the midst of focusing on what it’s all about.

Luke 14:11 ESV

“For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”

It is very easy to become prideful in how much money we have, what cool things we own, how big our house is, etc. I’m certainly subject to this as well.

But the irony is that it is more rare to be a humble person than it is to have a lot of money or big house. There’s a biblical concept of detachment to external things, and that everything is temporary.

In stoicism, the lesson here is to view all things as borrowed: enjoying the things you have while you have them, but being detached enough that when it is taken away, you’re content with what is left.

Jesus is eternal and consequently the only thing we should consistently pursue, myself included. All is vanity.

To God be the glory.

Luke 13:2-3 ESV

“And he answered them, “Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans, because they suffered in this way? No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.”

Jesus debunks a popular held belief that tragedies and physical ailments are directly correlated with personal sin. He says no, but then quickly gives a warning: you must repent or you will perish.

I believe a lot of people view the term repenting as striving to be perfect and follow the Bible religiously then feel bad if they sin. But Jesus’ message is clear: everyone sins and you cannot earn your way to heaven. You must put your faith in what Jesus did to be saved.

Repenting means to change your mind/attitude toward God which then changes your behavior and life decisions. Revering God and putting God first will then naturally change your actions and behaviors to be more Christ-like.

If you are someone who is skeptical about the Bible, I totally get it. I ask you give it a chance with an open mind and just explore it. I’m not asking for you to commit to it today, just explore it and read it and see what happens.

To God be the glory.

Luke 10 ESV

The Parable of the Good Samaritan is an example of how the “wise and understanding” do not understand and interpret the simplest commands of Scripture properly.

A lawyer tries to ask Jesus a deceitful question: And who is my neighbor? (Referring to the command to love your neighbor as yourself).

The lawyer is asking Jesus this to try and eliminate responsibility for others that aren’t referred to as his “neighbor.” However, Jesus uses this parable to not only show how the wise and understanding sometimes miss basic commands of Scripture (such as the priest or Levite who know Scripture well but passed by the man who needed help), but also how to be a good neighbor. In the parable, a Samaritan has compassion on the man who needs help, and takes many actions to care for the man.

In that day, it would have been unthinkable for a Samaritan to help a Jew. However, in the words of my study Bible, “Loving one’s neighbor involves showing care and compassion even to those whom one would not normally have any relationship, but who are now in need.”

To God be the glory.

Luke 9:23 ESV

And he said to all, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.”

We should deny ourselves and our earthly desires, and set our minds and wants on the kingdom of God. Chasing earthly things only leaves us more empty, making us wanting more. All is vanity.

To God be the glory.

As well as reading the Bible when I can, I also enjoy reading about stoicism. I do find there to be some similarities in teaching between the Bible and stoicism. Here is a great photo summarizing the key points of stoicism:
