One reason young people want socialism so much is that they're jealous that older people have it and they don't.

I don’t follow snooker & I confess, I don’t know Mark.
But, I do know when someone is deeply struggling, because I’ve been there myself & I can see it in him.
If you know Mark, pls reach out to him.
Careers come & go. So too, do hard times.
No shame in needing love & support sometimes. Well done this lady, I’m pleased she gave him a hug.
Solidarity 🙏🏻

A piece from more than 5 yrs ago detailing how in the decade to the end of 2020, Man City made £1.7bn in commercial revenue, or £600m more than each of Liverpool, Chelsea & Arsenal's AVG of £1.1bn each in the same period. It stank then and it stinks now

How long is the stench of the “sham” going to corrode the meaning, worth, and very essence of the Premier League?
Listening to commentary about Manchester City’s players matching the defiance of their ownership and triumphing in adversity.
Listening to fans chorusing the names of the men running the club, wearing masks or displaying banners of their faces and jibing: “We’re Man City, we’ll cheat when we want.”
Victory being framed as “a lovely moment,” a show of togetherness as though some grave injustice has been imposed on City, rather than their hierarchy being found by an independent commission to have orchestrated financial doping on an industrial scale.
Their opponents and the rest of us wondering if any of this actually matters now and how much of it ever did?
There can be no business as usual pretence. We need a full stop to the absurdity.

I hate the way City reacted at the final whistle, no class at all but not surprised, no class, cheats!

We as a team did support our teammate and we were wrong.
I apologised to Patrice on tv years ago, which then prompted Liverpool to send him a letter also apologising which was the right thing to do.
Your reaction to my slight criticism saying you & Rio are in bed with Ronaldo so it clouds your judgement when speaking about him is embarrassing. You batter people every day, when it’s the other way you storm out of a tv studio or get personal. All to get another interview you sycophant.

So, @Carra23 dislikes me (and @rioferdy5 ) sticking up for our friend @Cristiano , or as he puts it ‘defending the indefensible.’
Here is the same Jamie Carragher supporting his friend Luis Suarez after he racially abused Patrice Evra:
