we need America to win.
I truly believe that starts with Americans building local businesses that support their families and their communities, which ultimately makes America stronger.
I’ve come to see X as a great tool in the growth of these businesses and if this account can simply get these businesses in front of a few more eye balls and lead to just a few more sales, then the time spent building it was worth it.
but ideally, it leads to significantly more than that.
over the coming days and weeks I’ll be putting out more resources to showcase, promote, and support these locally-based, family-run, American small businesses.
there have been an incredible amount of new businesses start up on X since I last updated the thread, so be sure to let me know about then all and give me some time to capture then all again.
the stronger we can make local communities in America again, the stronger we will be as a country against the forces of globalist change and protect the very way of life we love.

I don’t think enough people on here know who the @polderfamily is, but they are as wholesome and American as it gets.
the plant their father worked at closed and they came together as a family to start a family business which ended up centered around their hand carved wooden spoons and other kitchen utensils.
just parents and children making beautiful, useful things together, with their own hands, under their own name.
having originated in Florida, they moved to Tennessee, and are now in Virginia. presumably this northward migration will continue until they finally arrive in new england.
that said, I’ve often talked about generational family businesses and roots on here, and how the older I get the more convinced I am that the family business is one of the highest forms of enterprise, and am indeed, working on building my own, but here are the Polder’s literally in it.
crazy to me that more people don’t know about them.

Humming Meadow isn’t really about honey or really even about bees.
It’s about creating a world for all the small living things: the pollinators, the birds, the children.
It’s ultimately about cultivating abundant life.
That includes moths too.

the best brands listen to their devoted following. Love to see the follow through.
You told us you wanted a tee shirt that did not have a giant logo on it.
You also told us you wanted a shirt in a lady’s cut.
We heard you and just released our lady’s luna moth scoop tee. All organic cotton, all made in the USA. 🦋

“Once upon a time, baseball hats were made where they were invented, America.
Then globalization happened.
Everything from textiles and apparel to automobiles to building materials to food and medicine was slowly eroded and destroyed.
It's been an absolute sh*t show.
For too long we have sat on the sidelines blaming the corporations or billionaires or the liberals or warmongers.
Everyone except ourselves.
And maybe hats seem like a silly thing to care about but someone has too.
For some reason I've always loved hats. I started 2 hat companies and finally had enough sending my work to China.
It's time to make a change.
To enter the arena.
For God and Country.”

I couldn’t have it better myself. Only through real Americans, having the guts to start real made-in-America businesses are we going to change the trajectory of this country.

make wool American again.
just got off the phone about the wool sweater business, and the other person couldn’t understand why I was so determined to use American wool.
it’s simple.
I’m an American. I care deeply about my fellow Americans.
so why would I build a business that continues the erosion of ng wool from another country?

“Is there a farm animal more American than the sheep?
Our First President heralded his sheep above any other animal.
The Founding Fathers themselves saw a nation of sheep farmers as the backbone of republican virtue and economic independence.”

I’ve seen enough. I want to follow, learn from, promote, and one day actually support through our wool manufacturing all the family sheep farms here on 𝕏.
we can reindustrialize New England and America all we want, but without enough American-made wool, from large herds out west to family farms like below, it makes no difference.
sheep are the perfect family farm animal. The economic possibilities from raising them are endless with a little creativity. Plus, they’re so kid-friendly!
also, is there a farm animal more American than the sheep? Our first president heralded his sheep above any other animal. The Founding fathers themselves saw a nation of sheep farmers as the backbone of republican virtue and economic independence.
I’ve been inspired to start my own sheep flock this year, which I can’t wait to share as well.
so if you have sheep, let me know like Donald did below. I’d like to get to know you and do everything I can to make you the backbone of this nation again. 🐑🇺🇸
