Always amazed at how often I'll get an OSS library bug report, and have it turn out that they're using a 5+ year-old library version. How does "try updating to current" not feature in folks' "fix it" list *ahead of* "log a bug with the library"?

While most of you can’t speak up for Palestine, you can donate money to vetted non-profits that help Palestinians in need.
Donate to “HEAL Palestine” (new) or the Palestinian Children Relief fund - both founded by @Stevesosebee - and the latter has an impecable record

I have filed an ethics complaint against @OuttenGolden, the law firm that I hired to represent me when @Columbia launched an unfounded & politicized investigation of me because I condemned violent attacks ag pro-Palestinian student protesters on our campus.

Then, an even smaller cohort appear unable to deny how unjustifiable this all is, but refuse to admit the systemic, genocidal nature of Israeli war crimes. It’s just a “couple of bad apples,” they say, despite all evidence to the contrary. 16,000+ dead children cannot be a couple least.

UN has today found Israel “deliberately killed, detained and tortured medical personnel and targeted medical vehicles while tightening their siege on Gaza"
They are now doing same in Lebanon

Never played CAH, but I love them.
Cards Against Humanity exploiting loopholes that should probably be illegal to compel you to vote so they become illegal.

C++ standards committee should forget about 50+ year old computers. There's indeed couple of people around the world maintaining ancient software, but those people have not updated their compiler for decades. Nobody will try to use C++20 on those systems. It's safe to drop them.
bro just assumed a byte (aka a char) was 8 bits 🫵😂 he doesn't know that the C standard only mandates a minimum of 8, and that you could indeed create a platform where a byte is 9 bits and have a valid C compiler implementation
