I think the web is about to learn a hard lesson today on what a critical security issue in something almost everyone use means in the era of AI. Terrifying tbh.
CRITICAL BUG IN PHP AFFECTS AS MANY AS 70% OF THE WORLD'S WEBSITES, COMPANY SAYS

PHP IS USED BY WORDPRESS AND MANY GOVERNMENT AND E-COMMERCE WEBSITES

BUG WAS FOUND USING AI, SECURITY RESEARCHERS SAY

PATCH WAS PUSHED A DAY EARLY AFTER DETAILS LEAKED OUT

I am currently building like 6 things and instead of finishing one after another I push all for them simultaneously so at the end I have to launch them all at once.

Somehow this was always my struggle, even bigger with AI now. Anyone has that too

If you keep 50 tabs open, I built something for you.

TabShoal groups your Chrome tabs by site, automatically. Open two Wiki tabs and they group themselves. Groups you make yourself are never touched.

Private, open source, 14-day free trial: fsh.ba/get-tabshoal

I love that when I mistakenly asked Claude Opus 5.5 to turn green icon into a black one on a black background it straight ignored my request and made it white instead.

I love when AI is intelligent enough to ignore my stupid requests.

It's either almost all software will be open source in the future or open source will die completely.

.@gitlab is the most successful YC startup with CEE founders in terms of money raised with @people, @Veriff, @AsherBio and @aerones_com trailing. Our own @useAlokai took #9.

26 out of 155 CEE YC alumni raised a series A so far, which includes our other portfolio startup iled more data on CEE YC alumni in the report linked in the replies. Ping me thete if you'd like to see the source data!

Shipping with Claude feel so damn good! I had a few spare hours during a conference in Vegas and shipped a new feature to our product end-to-end from design to production.

Great time to be a generalist with background in tech, design and product.

It takes me a bit longer to release the claude code edits inspection tool I promised to port from my personal tool. I am sorry, other things took priority. It's worth the wait tho.

Also I am having lots of fun rn coding it while sitting by the pool in Vegas

Stop babysitting your coding agents.
Queue tasks. Close your laptop. Review PRs from your phone.

Cezar runs agents 24/7 on your server. Free. Open source.

Adoption is taking off.
I see it as Open Mercato’s most important product -the foundation for AI engineering.

Not a bad idea actually especially if it will increase self-service for govt processes in the future. Imagine how cool would it be for governments to have agents that can do stuff for you in a secure way...
THE US GOVERNMENT LAUNCHES AMERICA DOT GOV, A CUSTOM LARGE LANGUAGE MODEL BUILT TO ANSWER QUESTIONS FOR 40M DAILY USERS ACROSS 29,000 GOVERNMENT WEBSITES.

Yes, it's a chatbot, but to be honest...if the entire world is now engaging with LLMs, it was time for the US gov to access information.

It was also announced that the website will go beyond information and help you take action starting next year, exciting to see some new usecases for this technology in the public sector.

So true! I will never use something like this. It's not secure!

> proceeds to installing a metaframework with 4k+ dependencies in the tree releasing new minor versions every day
Genuine question:

If the AI writes 95% of your code,

aren't you basically trusting a model with

decisions you don't fully understand?

Why is that considered a developer skill?

Well likely tomorrow or Wednesday. I got sick over weekend and had energy only for watching Vinland Saga (it's quite great btw, recommend).

I have it all working well for me for some time but need to strip the stuff that isn't generic enough or some embarrassing UX trade-offs I am fine with but won't ever let anyone suffer using it that way.

Sorry
By accident it's something I've been working on for some time. Comes out Monday.

Some get slower by not doing anything thought
if everyone is "faster" thanks to AI,

then no one is faster?

There will be a moment when engineers using AI who run circles around “artisanal” devs but are paid the same will get quite annoyed.

I’m not judging leaning into AI or avoiding it. That’s a choice. But it’s a choice that affects outcomes, and that will become very visible soon.
