Grok says @RubinReport is a useful idiot of the Russian government.
@joshrogin0@RubinReporttment shows RT employees funneled nearly $10M to Tenet Media, which paid Dave Rubin (matching Commentator-1: 2.4M+ YouTube subs) $400k monthly plus $100k bonus for videos—easily over $1M total. He said he was unaware of the Russian source, got a fake investor bio, claimed victim status, and kept the money. No charges against him. This fits the common definition of a useful idiot as someone unwittingly used to advance foreign interests.

He wasn’t even the person ICE was looking for.

Now Texas voters are leaving their “I Voted” stickers at his memorial.

Claire Heddles at the Tampa Bay Times reports that five state-funded charter schools paid more than $30 million over four years to two private companies run by Erika Donalds. OptimaEd alone is on track for $15.7 million in service fees next school year. Byron Donalds is running to shape the state budget and education policy that fund that same system.
New reporting shows that state-funded charter schools have paid more than $30 million to private companies tied to Byron Donalds' family. I'm calling on him to divest.

The use of the term "loophole" just hours after an organized disinformation campaign starts that Ukraine "hacked" Starlink is, interesting.

No connections I'm sure, totally organic and unrelated.
Elon Musk claims that Ukraine allegedly violated Starlink's terms of use and used the system on combat drones.

As someone who was inside the process at the Ministry of Defense, I can say with certainty that this is not true.

In February of this year, whitelists were introduced. uld be registered by both military personnel and civilians.
But for any satellite terminal to work while on the move, it had to be added to a special list and connected to the military Starshield system. Otherwise, no satellite communication terminals in Ukraine would work.

In other words, using civilian Starlink for drone missions was technically impossible. All drone missions that required satellite communication could only be carried out using Starshield.

We are very grateful to the United States and SpaceX for access to critically important satellite communications. Ukraine did not violate the terms of use.

Everyone, everyone, every living soul, especially those who die beneath the rubble of their homes in Russian bombardments and those who fight to the last drop of blood to defend their country and loved ones, is a warmonger with no realistic plan to end the conflict.

But never Russia, and never Vladimir Putin. No, he's a humanitarian, a pursuer of peace, and the greatest champion of American farmers.

Incorrect. Musk allowed Russia to use commercial Starlink for YEARS to murder Ukrainians. That largely stopped earlier this year. Ukrainian military uses the DoD Starshield variant under contract. Oddly, if you replace "Ukraine" with "Russia" in Musk's post then it's true.
Majority of the Russian units occupying Ukraine, a force over 600,000 Russians, are relying on Starlink satellite internet and Discord for regular combat operations. Both are American companies.
This absolute insanity must end immediately.

Dear friends, we urgently need lots of shotguns and ammunition to protect against enemy FPV drones, as well as lots of additional equipment for special missions. All your support is matched by Ukrainian sponsors!!!

We provide quality equipment, while the state issues cheap, ff that simply doesn’t work: it may be listed as issued to units, but it’s away for warranty repairs; and if it isn’t being repaired, you can’t shoot it because it jams either immediately or as soon as the first grain of sand gets inside.
The number of guys who have died because of this is simply horrifying. And this is happening when there are plenty of affordable, high-quality weapons that aren’t being purchased, and which the guys have to buy themselves or which we purchase for them!

youtu.be/R05qkkUYWbU?si…
Look it up — there are plenty more videos and simply reviews explaining that this is absolutely not an option for the front line or even for protecting logistics. But they keep buying it because it’s “cheaper” and “I’ll be praised for purchasing a lot at a low price, and as for it not working later, well, these things happen.”

We provide the Warriors of Light only with equipment that works, that suits the specific conditions, and that is the best among relatively inexpensive options. The same approach could be taken everywhere if people simply asked themselves: “What would I purchase and provide if I needed this for myself or my own child?” Oh, if the children of those in charge were serving on the front line, there would be Benellis everywhere.

But as things stand, there isn’t even enough money for Turkish copies costing 35,000 UAH. “Why buy all those Typhoons?” some colonel thinks. “I’ll get the cheaper crap instead.” And he thinks that way because he doesn’t put himself in an ordinary fighter’s place; he doesn’t imagine his own child in that fighter’s shoes.

Our hearts demand change — at least these basic changes: half as much, if necessary, but let all of it be quality weaponry.
Let there be 12% fewer shotgun shells, but make sure they all have a 36-gram payload and that this is the standard state-issued cartridge. Then, with basic shooting and weapon maintenance skills, and a few simple tricks for adapting to the weapon, it won’t jam and will always work!!!

But until things change, we keep working as before and trying to provide the Warriors of Light with the best affordable shotguns and ammunition for them!!!

So, 10 days after Starlink/Starshield was limited over Ukraine, Musk has finally crafted his story and decided to break cover with an emotional explanation. Many will argue it exonerates him, I think it poses more questions than answers. Let’s see what’s missing here. 🧵1/6

This is C-O-R-R-U-P-T-I-O-N.

Remember World Liberty Financial? The Trump family crypto venture that’s generated more than $550 million for Trump while in office, run by the son of his Middle East envoy, and nearly half-owned by UAE-linked investors?

The Trump family crypto company now wants to become a bank.

The regulator deciding whether to approve it is run by a Trump appointee, who Trump can fire.

And if it gets approved, Trump’s family business stands to make more money.

The bank would hold the dollars backing its own stablecoin, so it could keep more of the profits instead of sharing them with another bank.

And here’s the kicker: it would get the credibility that comes with being a federally chartered bank without having government-backed deposit insurance. That means that there is no guarantee you get your money back if things go wrong.

The Trump family is raking in money and his Administration is setting the rules of the game. While Trump is getting richer, Americans are getting nothing.

According to The Economist:

"It appears to have come from a small circle around the president, Mr Musk and Steve Witkoff, the special envoy to Russia. Reports suggest Mr Musk wanted to punish Ukraine for striking Russian refineries. One official says he contacted the White House only after imposing the restrictions."

If true, this suggests Elon Musk imposed the terminal-speed restrictions unilaterally, before notifying the White House.

Congress must urgently investigate whether Musk acted without government authorization. It is unacceptable for a private citizen to exercise unilateral control over a vital military capability. Starshield is a defense system, and decisions to restrict its operational capabilities should rest with the appropriate government authorities, not the CEO of a private contractor.

This should alarm everyone.
