I never want to party with someone that queues for 24 hours to stare at some corpse. We're just on a different vibe for what constitutes a good time

My life is a just a loop of thinking I’m going to get to see Rage Against The Machine live but then not getting to go see Rage Against The Machine live because *reasons*. It might take a while for the loop to go round but it’ll always fucking happen

I really hope the team that developed that auto fill 2FA code from Messages feature into Safari got some sort of prize or medal. Just reduces the task to nothing, it's great.

Biquette the goat, sold to an abattoir after she stopped producing milk but was rescued by punks and then spent 10 years watching grindcore bands. She could come and go as she pleased and, in the words of her rescuers, “escaped death, lived punk”. Absolute legend.

Friday: Hmmm, time to update Xampp I think...
Monday: Ahhhhh, FML & FMYSQL, time to restore my old Xampp installation from Time Machine I think
What a pointless stress that was. Ahh well, php 5.4 is current right?

This is fascinating: as-of 2017 university instructors have been increasingly encountering students who have absolutely no idea how files and folders on a computer work
omg turns out I wasn't completely bullshitting all the times when I fussed to students that "file not found" would be their most common and soul-destroying "bug" when trying to learn programming

Huh, WordPress 5.8 drops support for IE11. I mean, finally, yeah, but interesting to actually see it happen. Oh, and support for webP, finally, which is very exciting

I resisted for a good while, in retrospect too long, but I'm doing it now and, my goodness, I am having a lot of fun with vue.js. Wow

It's a low bar but relatively impressed HomePod understood the command "hey Siri, kick out some jams" and actually just resumed music rather than playing the MC5 song or read the weather or something

Knee jerking a little bit at the new Safari UI. Not in a good way. Especially on the phone #WWDC21
