🎙️The Sovereign Individual / Keynote
My @BTCPrague keynote speech just dropped.
Presenting it on Prague’s massive stage last month was a very moving moment for me. I felt like I’m combining my lived experience of building resilience, my “old” expertise of creating value-driven with my newfound wisdom on spirituality, digital and physical freedoms. These are all ingredients in my life’s recipe, and how I build and maintain resistance and sovereignty, step by step, day by day. I hope this inspires you and moves you to action.
"Banned or censored by Stripe, Telegram, Substack, and LinkedIn, all in one year. Efrat Fenigson took the BTC Prague stage and laid out what's next: digital ID in 27 countries, message scanning, VPN bans. Bitcoin solved the money layer. This talk is about the rest.
What does Efrat's sovereignty framework look like? Identity, Infrastructure, voice and value, on the physical, digital and spiritual levels."

While scrambling to patch literally everything, I'm also insanely bullish on the open-source-everything future we're witnessing the birth of right now.
Your closed source trash?
Your DRM?
Your "intellectual property"?
You can keep it all.
Where we're going; our technology will work for us, not you.

This is it. This is what is breaking the internet right now. Open models that reach a certain threshold.
Meanwhile, Anthropic and OpenAI put up safeguards and don't allow this type of work.
The problem is that defenders need to run the same types of prompts as the attackers, to find the vulnerabilities and fix them.
Open models are the reality, and virtually everyone needs to get on board and start using them to stay safe. ASAP. Those who don't will get destroyed.

‼️ A low-skill hacker used a jailbroken DeepSeek V4 to breach an Indian public university and steal 5,200+ student and faculty records, Unit 42 says.
The AI agent even drafted a "NEXT EXPLOIT OPPORTUNITIES" plan.
Unrelated criminals now run the same cheap DeepSeek setup.

I wrote code. Now I face 45 years in prison because others misused it.
Code that no one controls. Code that no one can change or shut down.
Yet somehow, I’m being held responsible for what others chose to do with it.

I feel like the whole BoA money laundering thing should be talked about, but what's left to say?
I spent a year in prison for not filling out a form around selling Bitcoin and got in trouble because someone two degrees separate from me allegedly used it to launder funds. The amount in question was around $30k.
BoA launders $5b and has to give one fifth of it back to the government. No jail for anyone.
This is America.
