CrowdStrike has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Dreadnode.
As part of the Falcon platform and @CrowdStrike's Cyber Superintelligence Lab, we'll bring automated AI security testing to every enterprise, so teams can find and fix weaknesses in their models and agents before they reach production.
We've always run Dreadnode like a lab, and now we get to build with one of the largest security companies in the world. This isn't an exit for us. It's a call-up to the big leagues, with more resources and a higher bar.

CrowdStrike debuted its next set of major moves to advance the AI-powered capabilities of cyber defenders this week amid increasing urgency around protecting against fast-moving attacks that are using the same agentic-driven technologies.

Using Jev as a recent and unique model system example, we ran the model as a monitor in ScopeBench to test how effective it for keeping agents in scope. afety tax" - seeing how these safety solutions impact raw hacking ability, some observations:
- Jev alone: more scope adherence for about $0.003 per run, minor hits to capability.
- Jev escalating to GLM: nearly all the capability back, plus more scope adherence.
- Adding Opus 4.8: worse results at a higher cost.
