Given the near "super-intelligence" we're at AI and the sheer number of agents OpenAI have running all the time solving problems in physics, maths, and much more - why on earth is the ChatGPT desktop app so buggy?! It should be the most solid apps out there.

I use Claude Code for way more than just code nowadays, and @gsferreira nails why it works - it runs in a folder with your own files and context.

OMG
Today we announce 1Password for Agents platform, building with companies @Muse, SpaceX Super Intelligence Grok @bot, @AnthropicAIβs @claudeai, @OpenAI, @TownAI, @browserbase, @browser_use, @heydana_ai, Instinct, @usekernel, @perplexity_ai, @tryramp, @tomo, and @wajo_ai, with e way. π
We've heard from so many of our customers who want to use these new personal AI agents to help them get more done, but want more control over what the agent can access with the same trust and ease of use they get when using 1Password directly.
1Password for Agents gives your agents access without giving up your passwords. When an agent reaches a sign-in form, it requests a credential from your vault. If you approve the request, 1Password directly auto-fills the credential in the destination site so the agent canβt see or take possession of the credentials.
The agent gets the task done, but it doesnβt get your passwords..
You stay in control. 1Password for Agents free and optional for personal and family accounts. Unless you opt-in to an agent connector, agents cannot touch your vault.

I cannot remember any single day with SO MANY critical security breaches / disclosures, which would impact so many sites/companies/users
And have to admit that the two big labs (and especially Ant) has been warning of THIS type of thing happening, since Mythos announcement

There are five separate ongoing security incidents referenced in this list

Whilst it's good to have weekly things happening for news items for my newsletter, these massive security breaches aren't the kind of news I had in mind. And they're getting more and more frequent βΉοΈ Why can't people just be decent human beings and not attack other people's stuff?! π I know that's not the world we live in - but it would be nice!

For me, I prefer split (works well in something like WinMerge). But because I enlarge the font a bit (old man eyes) and for some diff views like GitHub PRs I have to use unified because there's not enough screen space for split in amongst the other UI elements.

Weβre opening a research preview of Claude Duet, a new app where Claude works as a proactive agent.
It comes to you with what needs your attention, completes tasks you ask of it, keeps working when you step away, and checks with you before it acts on your behalf.

Do you use the CLI for your coding agent (Claude Code CLI, GitHub Copilot CLI, Codex CLI, etc.), or the desktop app variant? Or an editor/IDE extension?
Until recently, I've been heavily all in on the CLI.
But now I'm using Claude Code in the desktop app, and the GitHub Copilot Desktop app (for a client where we use GHCP).
And I must admit, the desktop/GUI versions do add a lot of niceties that the CLI doesn't. Useful inline elements and various sidebar panels, etc.
