🇪🇺 vs 🇵🇱

🇵🇱 dissolved the USSR, it will likely dissolve USSR 2.0.
Riot police are deployed around the Constitutional Tribunal in Warsaw.

President Karol Nawrocki went inside, and scuffles broke out at the entrance.

Protesters and police are facing off outside Poland's top court.

Astra & Sol are autistic lawyers models: poor common sense, loves jargon, sticks to the prompts like train to the rail, and sandbags everything like it's writing a contract. Opus is said have better smarts and much common sense, but unfortunately when paired with Astra gets bullied because it's a pushover.

‼️ Anthropic's official Claude Code extension was distributed with an SSH backdoor via Cursor's marketplace.

A trojanized update (v2.1.313) targeted up to 5,000 users, according to Cursor.

How attackers pushed it under the legitimate extension's identity remains unclear.

"Smartest move"? Isn't it obvious?

Anyway: 🍿
The Binance hacker might have just pulled off one of the smartest moves I’ve seen in crypto.

First, Tether froze $1.5 billion in USDT.

Then Circle froze another $800 million in USDC.

At that point, it looked like the hacker’s money was trapped.

But apparently, he had already planned for that.

Instead of holding the stolen USDT in a wallet, he allegedly deposited it into Aave and used it as collateral to borrow ETH.

Then he walked away.

That’s where the story gets crazy.

Tether can freeze the USDT sitting in the wallet.

But it can’t freeze the ETH he already borrowed.

So now Aave is left holding frozen collateral, while the hacker is sitting on liquid ETH.

And unless the protocol can recover it somehow, he may not even need to pay the loan back.

Two companies froze billions of dollars in seconds.

But someone who understood how to use DeFi may have found a way around both of them.

Pretty insane when you think about it.
Community note
The described Aave deposit used only ~60M USDT as collateral to borrow 19,762 WETH before freezes hit the main wallet, not the bulk of funds; Aave states the overcollateralized position is subject to normal liquidation with no material protocol risk.

BREAKING: Binance has been hacked with wallets across the Ethereum, Bitcoin, and TRON networks seeing outflows of -$5.7 billion.

The hack includes $1.45 billion worth of Bitcoin and $875 million worth of ETH.

If confirmed, this would mark the biggest hack in crypto history.

We expect more information shortly.

So one of our ambassadors @divagr1925 has been working on something cool

He found a way to use Qwen's Gated DeltaNet state as memory, and built a 32-bit RISC-V CPU directly into the model's weights. So instead of relying on predicting the answer to a calculation, the model can execute instructions internally. It can also run C and MicroPython programs.

He calls it Qwenputer, love the name btw. The results so far are pretty impressive. On one arithmetic benchmark, accuracy jumped from 48.6% to 100%.

Pretty cool to see developers experimenting with Qwen's architecture. Great work, my friend!
1/4

Meet Qwenputer: Qwen3.5-4B with a full RISC-V CPU inside its weights, using the model's own Gated DeltaNet layers as RAM.

It runs C and MicroPython in its forward passes, no external runtime.

On DeepMind math: base 55–90%, base + Python tool 95–100%, Qwenputer 97.5–100%.

Kind of wild how nobody is talking about this.

Starting October 30, OpenAI is cutting ChatGPT Pro usage limits in HALF.

- Codex + Work: cut 50%
- GPT-6 Pro messages: cut 50%
- Still the full $200/month.

"TLS traffic over DHE ciphers have a 1-byte secret, "04""
Announcing 3 Critical vulns for hundreds of millions of IoT, Firewalls, OT, and Military devices including: Palo Alto Networks, Comcast, D-Link, HP, Canon, Honeywell, GE, Oracle, Siemens, Rockwell, Digi, Lockheed Martin, Boeing...

The vulns are with GoAhead Web Server which is a backend library used by these devices. There's a patch available from GoAhead but that doesn't mean there's a patch available for the devices yet -- that's up to the manufacturer.

- TLS traffic over DHE ciphers have a 1-byte secret, "04", meaning anyone can decrypt connections to these devices and steal login credentials and session tokens if the client negotiated with DHE ciphers like the latest TLS_DHE_RSA_WITH_CHACHA20_POLY1305_SHA256, which is extremely likely.

- LibreSSL mTLS has been completely bypassed, meaning anyone can connect over mTLS. If you have one of these devices listening on the internet and are expecting mTLS to protect it from attackers, take it offline or patch asap.

- OpenSSL Certificate Revocation Lists (CRLs) are not enforced, meaning if a user device is stolen or compromised, and you revoke that mTLS cert, nothing actually happens. There are a lot of other attacks this can be used for.

These are critical because these types of devices run our world. Water systems, electricity, military, firewalls, critical infrastructure.

Funny to see that all these big corp driven harnesses basically reach the same conclusions and design that your personal side-project coding harness has been driving for many months now.

Code-execution flaw in UEFI firmware threatens most servers on planet Earth arstechnica.com/security/2026/…
Community note
The vulnerability (CVE-2026-97631) only affects systems actively PXE network-booting using vulnerable EDK2 firmware; it requires sending malicious ICMP packets during that window and does not impact systems booting from local disks or with PXE disabled.
