One-year-old Kohen Wiley was shot and killed by a Senatobia police officer responding to an alleged shoplifting incident involving diapers and baby clothes outside a Mississippi Walmart.
After reviewing body-camera footage, Kohen’s family is rejecting the state’s determination ustified.
An allegation of shoplifting does not diminish the value of a child’s life. Kohen deserved to grow up. His family deserves justice, and the officer responsible for taking his life should be held accountable.
