Finally shipped an update to my portfolio.
Added ThoughtNest, a full-stack blog platform I built with React, Appwrite, Redux Toolkit and Tailwind CSS.
A lot of debugging went into getting this project production-ready.

Today was mostly React + Appwrite work.
Improved the ThoughtNest UI, fixed a few things, and spent hours debugging scroll restoration.
The bug isn't fixed yet, but I finally narrowed down where the problem is.
Debugging continues tomorrow.

5–6 hours on my mega blog project today.
And honestly, most of it was debugging 😅
Fixed a bunch of issues, but still have some bugs left to chase.
Building projects really teaches you that writing code is only half the work.

useCallback finally made more sense today.
While building my React blog project, I saw why keeping the same function reference can matter when components re-render.
The interesting part isn't just learning the hook.
It's figuring out when you actually need it.

React progress from the last two days:
→ forwardRef
→ useId
→ Production-ready components
Alongside learning, I’ve been working on my mega blog project.
More building, less just watching tutorials.

Built a small Shopping Cart with React + Redux Toolkit.
Learned how Redux handles shared state using slices, reducers, actions, dispatch, selectors, and the Redux store.
Also added quantity controls, remove/clear cart, total price, and localStorage persistence.

Added Redux Toolkit to my React toolkit today.
Learned how slices, reducers, actions, useSelector, and useDispatch work together to manage global state.
At first Redux looked complicated.
After building with it, the structure started making sense.

Small milestone, but a good one.
Now I want to connect with more people who are building, learning, and growing in tech.

Learned React Context API today by building a simple shopping cart.
Worked with:
• createContext
• Context Provider
• useContext
• Sharing cart state across components
It finally started making sense how Context API helps avoid passing props through multiple components.

Built a Random Password Generator using React
This project helped me get more hands-on with:
→ useState
→ useEffect
→ useRef
→ useCallback
→ Tailwind CSS
I also learned how these hooks work together while building something practical instead of just learning the concepts.

Today’s React learning session was all about Hooks
Got a better understanding of:
→ useEffect
→ useCallback
→ useRef
It’s interesting how these hooks help manage side effects, optimize functions, and work with values/DOM references.

Today I finally got some clarity on Props in React.js
At first it felt a little confusing, but after learning how data is passed from parent to child, it started making much more sense.

It took me time to create this clone of the Liner website.
I tried to match the design as closely as possible.
Making it responsive was the most challenging part.
This project helped me understand CSS positioning, responsiveness, and layout structure much better.
