Mark my words: there will come a time when the big AI providers will enforce strict separation of personal and professional subscriptions. LLMs can already categorize and decide the nature of the tasks.

Protip: if debugging steam games with an agent on Omarchy, unless you tell it otherwise it will restart Steam for each change in startup parameters.
This has multiple negative effects, but mostly the agent window takes ownership of the steam process and will terminate it upon exit.
So tell your agent to create a launcher script for the game that it can freely tweak without disturbing steam.

If you're gaming on Omarchy, do yourself a favor and ask your agent to sync your steam games with the Omarchy menu. Then you can launch your games directly from the menu.
You see third party, multi-window launchers and tiling window managers don't mix. The workflow should be: switch workspace, launch game from menu.

Thank you @davepl1968 , I hit the common intel gpu problem on windows where the process viewer just dies randomly. TMOG works flawlessly.
Too bad windows hotkey rebinding is hot garbage so I cannot bind Ctrl+Shift+Esc to TMOG.

Omarchy makes your browser window transparent:
• Yes—the browser window is slightly transparent due to Omarchy’s Hyprland rules.

Your YouTube window has the default-opacity tag, which applies:
- 98.5% opacity when focused
- 96% opacity when unfocused
It’s currently unfocused, so the wallpaper is visible through dark parts of the video. Blur is disabled, so you’re seeing the actual background rather than a blurred version.

This happens because its window class is brave-origin, which Omarchy’s built-in fully opaque browser rule doesn’t recognize. No settings were changed.

@dhh if an application is set as my default browser I would expect it to be treated as a browser.

Gave @OmarchyLinux another chance on main PC.
It's quite the experience: stuff doesn't work but it's one prompt to fix it.
- Audio didn't see second monitor as output. AI fixed it in one prompt.
- Monitor didn't work at 240Hz. AI fixed it in one prompt (broke scaling), fixed it properly after another prompt.
- Too lazy to migrate wireguard, one prompt and I got VPN up.

Not gonna lie I'm willing to put up with the strangeness of hyprland if I don't have to learn vim and edit configs. Well done @dhh
(my editor of preference is joe, for those in the know)

For anyone wondering, this is a quick and dirty llama-bench of unsloth/Qwen3.8-Flash-Next-GGUF:UD-IQ4_XS on a GMKTec Strix Halo box, CachyOS, using llama.cpp-qwen4exp

Rocm 7.2.4 (from the repository):
pp512 | 390.40 +- 10.98
tg128 | 22.68 +- 0.07

Rocm 10 0.-1):
pp512 | 379.54 +- 36.27
tg128 | 21.86 +- 0.04

Vulkan
pp512 | 386.12 +- 6.30
tg128 | 27.74 +- 0.02

Overall Vulkan leads massively in generation and is close second at prompt processing. ROCm 10 is a clear downgrade.

So @dhh I guess I can't recommend Omarchy to *all* my friends.
Maybe put a warning about parts of it being unusable at (arguably) low resolutions.
Can't even use btop at 18 lines.

@dhh In other bugs, the rtl8723be driver spamming the logs with recoverable errors to the point of the laptop overheating is still present. But that's not Omarchy specific.

Hey @grok based off of my posts, what historical figure from all eras of human history do I remind you of?

Yes I know that Omarchy already binds the key to Super+Shift, I was just looking for ideas. ChatGPT did give a based one though

Microsoft finally convinced me. I resisted at first but they really know how to sell a product.
