My mail carrier for @USPS is the sweetest person with my dog. He looks for her every trip in or out of our building. But he’s not allowed into the post office around the corner unless he’s a service dog. I should have lied.. I didn’t. Not a good look in a walking city IMO. 🤷🏻‍♀️

The primary White House TV pool is made up of 5 networks: CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, and FOX. We take turns covering POTUS for pooled events and trips, and then share footage with the other 4 plus other outlets.

Today there is no tv pool, so Trump won’t have a crew with him at UNGA.

The White House media ban
reminds me of the Teddy Roosevelt quote:

“To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.”

Democrat or Republican or Independent or Libertarian…your politics should not matter. This is not what happens in a Democracy. Freedom of the press.
Here's MS NOW reporter @gardnerakayla describing her arrival at the White House this morning. Her badge didn't work. "The officer asked me to hand over my badge. He said that it was disabled. I asked why I was not able to get inside. He said it was above him."

Never Forget.

On this 25th Anniversary I once again say @markondefense I’m so glad you’re here and alive and I love you. I don’t take those words lightly knowing how many others across our country could not say them that day or now. ❤️ (my memory of that day on instagram)

His laugh. His smile. His kindness. ESPN & my time there were better because of Barry Melrose and any gathering which included him has stories to last a lifetime. Truly one of a kind. RIP my friend. 💔

🎥 Here's my full, likely final read on what happened with Michigan-WMU, after talking to a lot of people 👇

The Big Ten uses Hawk-Eye technology, which is better and was correct. There has actually probably always been a tiny lag in the embedded clock on the program feed. That had never been a problem before because everyone was using the same tech and it was the best option. The creation and use of newer tech like Hawk-Eye showed a tiny lag existed. (It matters less in basketball because of the backboard light and because the game clock is in the camera shot).

There was no national protocol for that kind of review because the NCAA typically lets conferences set their own protocol, because not everyone has the same technology. Because of this situation, the NCAA has now put a national protocol in writing, leaning on the program feed clock in this situation because it’s a tech everyone else still uses.

No secret clocks, no conspiracy, just new and better tech that only the Big Ten has in CFB.

If Hawk-Eye didn’t exist, if this game was played a few years ago or almost anywhere else, or if it happens again, WMU would’ve won.

From the Big Ten:

“The Big Ten stands by the statement released following the conclusion of the Western Michigan at Michigan game and the determination made by the replay officials. We will have no further comment on the matter.”

Gonna need a Zapruder level deep dive into that second left on the clock. That being said… flat out incredible what Michigan did with it. 🤷🏻‍♀️😊 #GoBlue
