As an artist, I’m reminded that art doesn’t exist in isolation. It’s part of the world we live in, shaped by everything happening around us.
Due to planned protests and security concerns in Paris, the Louvre, Musée d’Orsay, and Picasso Museum will be closed on Saturday, October 24.
Art Basel Paris has also cancelled its weekend programme and will close early on Friday evening, October 23.

I lived through the days when a 3 ETH auction on SR wasn’t enough to get me on the homepage. I also witnessed 30–40 ETH art sales, major collectors, and artists at their peak.
Those who were here to flip and those who were here for the art are known to the artists who lived through it all.
But I don’t think this is the time to look for someone to blame.
We all played a part in shaping this culture. Now, we should be talking about what we can do to rebuild it.
Less blame. More ideas. More action.
The question isn’t who ruined NFT art. It’s what we’re willing to do to move it forward. 🖤
Those who were here to flip and those who were here for the art are known to the artists who lived through it all.
But I don’t think this is the time to look for someone to blame.
We all played a part in shaping this culture. Now, we should be talking about what we can do to rebuild it.
