I remember growing up and seeing old portraits on the walls. Those big black and white photos of people who came before us.

Now I realize that one day, that might be all that’s left of us. Just a portrait on a wall.

So I decided to leave you portraits of my mind. A way to see e people who exist in a different reality.

Create a [style] artwork of [main subject] in [setting]. Use [lighting and colors] to create a [mood] feeling. Keep the composition [simple, balanced, symmetrical, etc.].
I've noticed that so many artists in this space never show their process.

why? what are you afraid of?

Poor artists are so greedy,
They always want to sell something

But rich artists!
They are really generous!
Often giving the opportunity for people with more means and less means to acquire their work!

i’m drawn to images that feel like they came from a place words can’t fully reach.

I’ll always respect the ones who built their style before the market knew what to call it.

Amazing thread by my fren @mendezmendez with so many great insights. Recommend all my artist frens to take a read ☕️
Recently I hit the 1,000 daily artworks milestone.

Pretty fucking surreal tbh, showing up every single day has transformed my practice and completely changed my approach to the creative process.

I want to share some insights, grab a drink... it's a chunky one 👇
