I haven't played in a bit, but this makes me ridiculously sad. I loved watching the tournaments and when I would play, I was so beyond focused on climbing to being a master. Hitting master the times I did brought me so much joy.

Pok茅mon UNITE is shutting down.
The game will officially close on March 23, 2027. This affects both the Nintendo Switch and mobile versions.
Starting today, Aeos Gem sales are ending, and new UNITE Club memberships and automatic renewals will no longer be available.
There will after the shutdown. Once the servers close, the game will no longer be playable.

Just watched a guy in target try to buy the last 6 boxes of the pokemon first partner sets when the limit is two.
I absolutely said something to the lady at the self checkout. And she said something to him. And not bc I couldn't buy them - I'm collecting the Asian cards. I looked at them and passed.
But at least give some kid a chance to buy them. And this wasn't someone buying them for their kids. He was weaving in and out of areas to get to the register to avoid the employees.
I could have videoed but I didn't. It's not worth giving them the time of day. I just hate seeing real people who collect and play, especially kids, not be able to buy cards because of the scalpers.

Gonna be working/learning some new stuff at work, which means I won't be calling my current patients anymore. Just had the call I knew was gonna be the hardest. Having to say goodbye sucks.
