i taught a tiny 17M param driving model to recover from its own mistakes by letting it practise inside @comma_ai 's world model.
my model drives inside comma's 4B world model, comma's own model labels what it should have done, the student retrains on its own mistakes, DAgger.

The @comma_ai comma 4 has been such a cool piece of tech to stumble upon.
It really does make driving more chill and accomplishes exactly what they intended.
It’s made our monthly road trips between ATX <-> HTX so much more relaxing. I feel way less stressed in our suburb <-> city commuteboys in the back).
I love it on night drives keeping the car perfectly centered when there’s no median between the blinding headlights of oncoming traffic.
During heavy TX rains it still sees lanes and steers confidently.
There’s such a massive helpful community it’s sometimes surprising how there’s still so many people I chat with who don’t realize you can just buy this device, plug it in to most cars, and it kinda just handles 80-90% of your daily driving steering.

True story. You can just make things in America 🇺🇸
American-made products are not impossible. Stories about iPhones costing $37,000 or laptops costing $100,000 are psy-ops, sometimes pushed by foreign adversaries but more commonly by American corporations that want anything but an upset to the status quo.

You can install openpilot on a 2019 corolla, an 8 year old car, and it will stop at stoplights for you.
If @comma_ai didn't exist, old cars would almost certainly never get capability like this. And most people would claim a project like openpilot could never exist.
Many cool se a few people decided it should. You can just do things, and more people should!
